How do you store fermipan yeast once opened? Does it need to go into an airtight container & then fridge?

I've always stored mine in an airtight storage jar in a cupboard and never had any problems.

Re the 'fermipan dried yeast 500 g (pack of 4)' - do you get 4 x 500g or 500g in total?

NO! You only get i (one) single pack of 500g. You do NOT get 4 (four) packs of 500g. I had a full refund from Amazon when I complained through the online chat - took me 20-30 mins of my time that I won't get back. Otherwise, as long as the pack is fresh and sealed on arrival, the product is very good, but you should not be paying more than around £6-£7 at most.

making pizza dough with this just wondering how much to add for 800g of flour plus about 200g for dusting. When using instant i use about 7g

I got told 0.5% to strong flour. But I found 1% to bread flour is about right also pre start the yeast in a little warm water (40°C) and a teaspoon of sugar any old e oil or butter and a tablespoon of strong flour to get the yeast activated. Leave it in a warm place for 10 - 15 .minutes then add to your strong flour and mix.

How much Fermipan yeast should I use per cup?

Hi, I use 2 x level teaspoons to 500 grams of strong bread flour. 1 Cup flour = 120 grams. 500 grams = 4.16 cups. So slightly over half a teaspoon.Hope that helps, it's excellent yeast.
