I use this before applying makeup in cold weather but if it's humid it gets very watery.

Love this item, moistures my dry skin so well. Usually buy the sensitive which is equally as good but not available on next day at the moment . A moisturiser I keep going back to.

Reliable moisture for aging skin

I bought this skin creme mainly because of a good review on The Skin Care Edit which promotes it and that fact that is relies on shea butter. The lighter version that I use as a daytime moisturizer and I add 2 to 3 drops of Consonant's Hydrextreme serum. The other version of this creme I use at night without the above drops. It is a thicker moisturizer and the first ingredient is shea butter. Both impress me as being excellent moisturizers without being oily. You need to leave it on the skin for a moment or two and it will sink in and not be oily. In fact, I put a sunscreen on top during the day without any problems although using a translucent loose setting powder such as Laura Mercier with a large fluffy brush will take down the shine for the entire day.
