Botanicals Labels & Stickers: 150 Elegant Adhesives for Home and Gift-Giving

I love this sticker book. The stickers are gorgeous and there is a decent variety. Quirky yet traditional. I love i and I wish there was more of this kind of thing out there.

This was on an amazon wishlist for a family member. I was happy with the product. It appeared to be something lovely for a gift or for a nice treat for self. Lovely colours on the outside, but I was obviously unable to open up the gift and have a proper look.

I love these labels (and anything from Rifle Paper & Co really), they have a vintage, floral feel to them and make all the presents I make prettier and more attractive. Will definitely buy again!

I bought these because my favourite "French General" labels are no longer available. I mainly require them for labelling jam, etc, in the kitchen. These are the same quality of label, i.e. they stick well, including to jars, and they are plain paper, so easy to write on. The disadvantages for me are that firstly there are a lot of labels with specific text on, e.g. bookplates and "to-from" gift labels; and secondly, several of the labels are rather large, so there are fewer labels overall. However the designs are pretty, just not quite what I expected.

I like having stickers to cheer things up and love the designs of these.

Quite pretty, some of the stickers I wouldn't use

These are some gorgeous stickers and labels with a lot of variety. The stickers and labels are printed on a nice thick matte white paper that’s easy to write on. You get a pad of 30 tearaway sheets in 9 different styles all in a pretty card stock envelope enclosure. The stickers are of varying sizes and uses and you get 153 stickers in total. You can see all 9 styles in my photos and you get 3 sheets each of the first 7 styles and you get 5 of the 8th style (with the special delivery box) and 4 of the last style (with the snail mail sticker). This set of stickers and labels features muted fall colors and has a very subtle metallic gold ink on some of the details like the gold strip or the gold frame on the 1st page style, the background of the floral circle seal on the 4th page style, the par avion sticker on the 6th page style, the tag on the special delivery box and the envelope the snail is holding. I tried to capture the subtle glimmer of the metallic ink in the close up detail photos. These arrived from Amazon in great condition and I had no issues with the shipping and packing of this order. I did however find these for half price ($5.50) at my local bookstore “urns and tables” but they must have an older printing of these (they came out in 2012) and that’s why they were on clearance. The packaging of the clearance ones wasn’t in the best shape (torn, sun faded, tiny bits of sticky residue, some dark spots, etc.) but the stickers inside were perfectly fine. In comparing the two, I noticed that the older printing has the metallic gold accents on all 30 sheets but the newer ones from Amazon only had the metallic ink on every other page style, so only about half the sheets had the gold metallic details. I returned the Amazon ones without taking pictures first but I remember that the 1st (Ex Libris), 3rd (animals book plate) and the last page styles (snail mail) didn’t have metallic gold accents and maybe one or two of the other styles in the middle. On the page styles that don’t have metallic ink, the Amazon ones had an olive green-gold color instead. The newer printing also uses darker/more saturated colors on some of the pages most notably in the orange-y red details (such as the book in the stack on style 2, buds/berries in the floral wreath on the 4th style, and the biggest measuring cup on one of the middle styles). Some of the grey-blue details were noticeably darker/bolder too. For comparison, these are fairly comparable to the holiday gift sticker and labels that Rifle Paper sells. Those are printed on lightly textured matte off white paper. The ones before the 2019 holiday season featured the same gold metallic ink that this set uses. However the new gift stickers (such as the winter floral or nutcracker themed ones) use gold foil instead of gold metallic ink for the pretty details. I would consider the holiday gift stickers to be a bit more luxurious and this set to be great for more everyday uses such as snail mail, care packages, organizing and labeling, etc. All are of excellent quality. Rifle Paper stationery products tend to be on the expensive side so I would say this set is a great value since you get 153 stickers featuring their signature art for only $11. Compared to their holiday gift stickers and labels which are $10 or more for 45 stickers, it’s hard to find something of theirs at a better price so I highly recommend this set, even at full price!
