I had brought this for my 2 kittens and they have enjoyed both scratching their claws and also using it as a bed, they have brilliant sleep on the scratcher! the structure is sturdy and it is made form exceptional strength cardboard. The product is a perfect size for both cats and kittens and is definitely value for money. The product is lightweight but remains on the floor as the cats are scratching. I haven’t tried but I guess you could balance the scratcher against the all to offer additional functionality. Using this has meant my furniture has been protected. I believe that using this scratcher has improved my cats health due to their increase in activities levels.

The Trixie scratching board is a firm favourite in our house. Sylvie, our giant half Bengal half Persian (I know, we were bewildered, too) has used this daily since we bought it a couple of months ago. The cardboard serrations seem to be the perfect width for kitty to scratch deep without harming her claws. The cardboard 'bits' that break away adhere well to the board, so you don't constantly have a trail of it around the house; we tap them out and hoover up when doing the rest of the house. As mentioned, we've had this a good few weeks now and it's still in daily use, you can see it's been well loved but there's plenty left, I could easily see us only needing two, maybe three a year. It's also a good width for even a large cat to lay on (if, like our furry feline leader your cat likes to lay anywhere that's not the bed you loving chose and purchased for them). Can't recommend it enough, we've tried many over the years but always go back to this one as it's a complete bargain.

My cat absolutely loves this scratcher and sometimes even falls asleep on it.

A bit small. Ok for a small kitten. You have to sweep the card or shake it off, it does get used.

I took in an old lady cat a week ago and quickly realised the standing scratching post wouldn't do. She has some mobility issues so we went with this and honestly couldn't have hoped for better. She was on it before I'd fully removed the packaging. She can't get her claws in so well due to her medical issues so I think it'll last a while, but if your cat is strong and healthy I can see it getting torn up eventually as it's not exactly the most sturdy material but it's not awful either. It's lightweight as well so easy to move around. It's a good size and she took to it immediately. For the price it's totally worth it. I'll be ordering more for my other two (old lady is in quarantine so this is hers alone) and I'll edit my review once I've seen how it holds up to them as they're young with no mobility issues. Also, here's my cat tax ♥️ Edit - they do not last long at all if your cat uses it frequently or is actually able to get their claws in unlike this old lady 😅

My cat loves these. They can be used both ways so last a while. Have bought them again as they are very reasonably priced and easy to dispose of once they get to tatty.

Wir haben zwei Katzen, eine Katze liebt ihn - die andere schaut es nicht an. Trotz kräftiger Nutzung ist es wirklich gut haltbar obwohl es nur Karton ist. Wird auch als Liegeplatz verwendet.
