Okoplus Cats Best Original Clumping Cat Litter 40ltr (17.2kg)

This cat litter is something else! I used to use a very well known non clumping litter for years, dealing with the smell of cat urine if tray wasn't emptied completely every 2 days, thinking, well this is the best brand available.....it definitely wasn't! Ordered the huge bag of this, at just under £40, I worked out if it lasts for at least 6 weeks I've spent less on it as previously mentioned "top brand" as I spent £15 a fortnight on that one. Received the bag of litter one week ago today, and I have to say this is the best clumping litter I have ever experienced! I have a massive litter tray for 4 cats who are all indoor/outdoor, but 3 of them prefer to go out and come back inside to use the tray :/ so it could be absolutely rotten at times! Had no problems with the cats with changing the litter but I suppose it depends on how fussy your cat is! This does track a lot more than my previous brand, but its quick to sweep up every now and again. It smells like fresh cut wood, clumps SO easily with wee, and is really easy to lift out with a big scoop. The litter turns to a gel like ball, holding together well until lifted out. Doesn't stick to the tray either! (but I do go digging around 3/4 times a day so nothing is sitting for very long) Its quieter than other litters! I have noticed i barely hear my cats going for the toilet now compared to the other, it sounded like an excavation was going on! On day of delivery I put around 4 inches of litter into tray, 7 days later i haven't had to even top it up yet! Or change it fully, or wash a stinky litter tray!! In my opinion this is well worth the money, it may seem expensive, but it lasts ages!

This is the best cat litre ever. The clumping means it is easy to take what you do not want out. It does not smell., it absorb extremely well. It is definitely value for money. I never use anything else. Been using it for years. Would rate this product very highly.

Having had cats for over 20 years and dealing with smelly cat litter trays I was recommended to try Okoplus cat litter by a friend and boy am I pleased ! The product is fantastic, non smelly, long lasting and offers effective clumping. Definitely the best cat litter I have ever used. I have even recommended it to friends who have bought the product and are super impressed.

When searching for the ideal cat litter, my requirements have always been the following: It must clump, it must be easy to clean, not dusty, it must not track, it must help control the odour and it must be fine enough for my kittens to scratch because my ginger tom LOVES to scratch about in the litter box after doing his business. I have tried my fair share of cat litter now and must say that I don't think it will get any better than this. Don't get me wrong, this cat litter isn't PERFECT, as in it doesn't fulfil my requirements 100% but it has been the best one I have tried so far. So at first I was a bit dubious about the clumping ability of this litter because when I poured it out of the bag, it looked like bits of wood and I thought oh no, not again as my kittens didn't like using the wood pellet litter and I didn't like how it broke down into, basically, wet sand when they peed on it. However, it does clump upon contact with liquids into a gel-like, rice crispy-looking consistency. The clumping is not the BEST compared to some of the good clay based litters out there but the important part is that it clumps nice and CLEAN. It doesn't stick to the bottom of the tray like the clay based ones do so it makes washing of the tray A WHOLE LOT easier and also eliminates having to use a litter liner. It also does not have any dust clouds when I pour it out the bag which I really hated about the clay litters too. At first my kittens were a bit hesitant to use this new strange litter because they seem to prefer the clay ones as they like to cover up their business afterwards so I had to sprinkle some of the litter they were used to onto this new one to encourage them to use it. This litter helps control/mask the odour so long as the kittens manage to cover up the faeces well... so that its literally buried, otherwise you will still get an odour. The only thing I really don't like about this litter is the fact that it tracks quite badly but then again I haven't and don't believe I ever will come across a cat litter that has zero tracking. However, given the many good points about this litter I can live with the tracking problem. Oh and I also love the fact that this litter is organic so it won't harm the environment too much as it is compostable/biodegradable. I know its not one of my main requirements but its nice to know this fact and makes me feel a bit better using it!

Best clumping litter

For the last decade I have spent on average 30 pounds a month on cat litter. I have 3 house cats who eat a lot and dump a lot :) My cat litter bill was horrendous and felt like a household bill. Then I came across this wonderful stuff. I bought my first bag from another online retailer due to the marvelous reviews I had read online. I wondered if it was all true and worried at such an outlay, for if it didn't work as they said it would be a huge waste of money. It wasn't. This is remarkable cat litter and already it has saved me a fortune in money and time taken cleaning out cat litters. I used to have to change the cat litter once a day and then fill it up again (using what I used to use, wood based cat litter) and it was time consuming and expensive. This stuff - You fill it up the first time and then when they wee or do the other, it clumps around it (no waste!) you lift it out with a scoop and drop in the toilet. The cat litter no longer emits a smell, this stuff disguises aromas so well! and it is so hygienic and great for the cats. It does tread a lot but that is a small price to pay for the saving of money and time that this cat litter brings me. One bag lasts me 2 months! but I have 3 cats. If you only have one, this could last you six months so when you work out the cost, its so much cheaper in the long run. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super économique, écologique, agglomérante, peu d'odeur. J'achète ça depuis plusieurs années et plus aucune envie d'en changer. Plusieurs chats à la maison et c'est la meilleure !

Ayant plusieurs chats à la maison, je peut vous assurez que j'ai déjà tester beaucoup de litières, sans être convaincu à 100%. Jusqu'au jour ou j'ai voulu essayé celle-ci (depuis un an maintenant) et depuis, je n'ai jamais re changer! J'avais une fréquence de nettoyage (vider, laver, remplir) toutes les semaines avant, et maintenant je peut largement tenir un bon mois sans tout devoir nettoyer à fond. Par contre, bien évidemment j'enlève les sels tous les jours, et c'est très rapide et facile! Elle absorbe très bien les pipis en formant des boules, et ne laisse pas de salissures au fond du bac. Elle masque les odeurs pendant longtemps. L'avantage aussi pour ma part, c'est d'avoir un format de 40L de disponible, ce qui me permet de remplir mes 5 litières en une fois chaque mois. C'est plus avantageux que d'acheter plusieurs petits formats. Je peut l'a trouver dans certains commerces vers chez moi, mais c'est sur Amazon que le prix est le plus avantageux (j'ai déjà constater une dizaine d'euros de différence avec certains magasins). J'ai donc opté pour l'abonnement " prévoyez et économisez" ce qui me permet d'avoir de petites réduction et de ne pas devoir gérer les commandes à chaque fois. Point important à souligner également, c'est qu'elle est végétal, écologique et biodégradable! Le seul petit bémol mais que l'on retrouve très souvent dans les litières, c'est que les chats en mettent un peu partout quand ils sortent du bac, mais avec un nettoyage régulier et au vu des nombreux points positifs à côté, ça reste qu'un détail! Vous l'auriez compris, je recommande à 100% cette litière!
