What use is the Remote Control if this strip is non-dimable and has a single colour? Thanks

I have just checked the ones I purchased and they are the same. If you zoom in on the remote control you will see that there are two buttons to the right of the green button. These are the brightness + and - buttons which dim the lights. Unless they send you a completely different set to mine I can confirm that these lights by Lighting EVER do have a dimmer option.

Can an additional power supply be purchased to enable shorter lengths to be connected

Can I turn off particular lights to create a "dark bridge"? If so,how?

Hi Kunde, the answer is no, all 300 leds will be the same brightness, you can dim or brighten the whole light, but can not set particular lights.

The dimmer switch is too close to the start of the lights--what kind of extension lead do I need? I want the lights to start on the ceiling.

Hello there, Sorry I have not even taken mine out of the box yet! Project was put on back burner! I should imagine any extension lead that will reach would be good. If in doubt, take the light strip along to a DIY store and ask someone who knows about electrics.
