My measurements were larger than the medium, thinking it would be a tighrter fit, but in fact it was not. I was very disappointed, not worth the money. Would not recommend

Hello. No not really. There are braces for either the left or the right hand.

how do you find out what sixe you require

On the product description on Amazon it gives the wrist circumference for size small so if your wrist is larger than what they say then you would be a large i guess. Very pleased with mine, comfortable and flexible gives light support.
