Bought this for my granddaughter, it was an old favourite of my children, a lovely story that captures the spirit and fun of Christmas using characters from some well known fairytales. Brought back good memories, would definitely recommend.

I love this book. My granddaughter loves this book. She already loved the Jolly Postman but the Christmas one is, if possible, even better. Our sons loved Alan and Janet Ahlberg books when they were young and we still have an old, much loved Burglar Bill and Cops and Robbers (Ho, ho). This book references so many nursery rhymes, fairy tales and the illustrations and text are both perfect. If you haven’t got a copy of this book, please, please do get one. Read it, share it, you will love it. So will any child you are lucky enough to share it with. It is worth far more than the cover price for the quality you get. It takes quite a while to read the book with a child, so much is left for you to discuss together, to comment on, to remember and love. The fairy tale world visited by this very special postman takes you on an encchanting delivery round and brings you back home full of joy and wonder, whatever your age. Do I recommend it? Yes, of course - to everyone!

Bought as a replacement for copy we had that had lost some inserts that had belonged to my son. Granddaughter loves this book and is now so happy to have her own new copy with all inserts in situ. Well loved family book.

I bought already before The Jolly Postman or others people's letters and it was a nice book and such a good gift, so I bought this edition, and even better than the first, Highly recommend it for children or even for adults who like this type of detailed books.

Heart-warming, inspiring book full of surprises. However, it is mostly understandable for English native-speaking kids who are acquainted with English folklore.

This is an amazing Christmas book to add to your collection! Familiar nursery rhyme characters, a jolly postman and Santa all in one book?! It has something different in each pocket! Truly worth more than what I got it for on sale, let alone what's actually posted on the book itself. You're getting so much more than another holiday story! Truly a joyful experience opening this the first time. It's a gift that keeps on giving and perfect for little kids. I don't know how I didn't know about this book until now.
