Great product!!😉
I have had this colour for a few months now and very happy with it. I used to have very dark haired but because of my greys I wanted it lighter as not noticeable when my hair is lighter. Easy to apply and because it’s ammonia free the smell is not too strong. I tend to put some moisturiser on before colouring as stain comes off easily during washing. The colour seems to get lighter after 4 weeks though but then I am ready for a touch up as my greys seem to reappear again!!!Overall satisfied with my choice of colour!Great service too!!😊

A little darker than expected
Overall this is a good product, clear instructions and easy to apply. Love that it's more natural with no ammonia. I changed my colour from dark blond to this light brown but it was darker than expected. I need something in between I think. It does lighten after a week or so, it's just a personal preference of course.

Less chemicals hair dye which does the work
I've been using Garnier Olia 6.0 Light Brown for a while now, and as someone who has to colour their hair regularly because of grey roots, I'm really pleased with it. The fact that it's ammonia-free and oil-powered makes a noticeable difference. My hair feels less damaged after using many traditional permanent hair dyes. No hair dye is completely harmless, but I find Olia to be much gentler on my hair, even with frequent colouring. I found that if you have stubborn grey hair, I'd recommend leaving the colour on for an extra 5–10 minutes , as it helps achieve better grey coverage. I would recommend this product.

I've tried a few colours
I originally used the ORANGE - Very vibrant and lasts a decent amount of time, need to touch up maybe once a month. I then used the ROSE (pink) - I dyed it over the orange, took 2 dyes and 4 boxes to get the colour on the box. Lasts a lot less than the orange but fades to nice pink shades until you touch up. I used the dark blond (8.0 I think) and it lifted my brown roots to pure gorgeous blond, the pink/orange ends became more muted (which is why I wanted to dye the blond on top anyway). If you have natural light brown hair, you can go straight to a gorgeous blonde with that dye I recently used the brown as my hair was still pinky/orange and I had brown and blond roots. The brown is gorgeous, exactly like the box. It is not patchy even though my hair was different colours before. Its so lovely! They all leave your hair so soft, I haven't noticed any damage. The reviews that say these are terrible either, didn't try to dye their hair with the same shade again (2 times work better than 1 for the unnatural colours) or they either didn't section properly. The photos all have natural daytime lighting and no filters

Not bad but there are some cons...
I wanted to write some of the pros and cons of this product so it helps others make an informed decision: Pros • It lifts darkest brown hair quite well given it doesn’t use bleach. I was impressed that my darkest brown hair was ever so slightly lighter and without a hue of red. • I had a balayage treatment done which, because of lockdown, I haven’t been able to tone. I applied this dye over the reddish/brassy highlights and it muted the tone fairly well. I wouldn’t say it removes the reddish/brassy tone entirely but it definitely mutes it and make it more of a golden brown which is a much more appealing colour. Cons • I found the substance quite difficult to apply and my hair would get easily tangled. I would advise using a comb when applying to ensure even application. Don’t massage it as per the instructions as hair gets tangled and actually I was worried about damaging my hair or having uneven coverage. Comb is gently through and take your time. • This notes 100% grey coverage but that’s not true at all. I would say 50% of greys were covered. I left the product on for 30 minutes and was wary to leave it on longer in case my hair got damaged. It would either need another dye session or to be left on longer. Overall Overall this is good value for money. And for a box dye it helped me feel a bit more “normal” given I don’t have a hair dresser. The main flaw is the grey coverage which was the main reason I bought this product. I would probably buy it again as my hair feels soft (not damaged at all) and maybe one more round could have 100% results. But I’ll wait a couple weeks before doing so.

Very Gentle On Hair, Leave on Longer to Process
I used 6.0, Natural Brown. This is a good line and my first time trying it out. There is no harsh odor that makes your bathroom smell and it feels good to apply. It’s a little runnier than most hair dyes I’ve used at home, but that might be a good thing as this Olia did well covering greys. I will say though that most boxed hair dye, and this is no exception, tends to make hair swing warm/brassy regardless of your natural shade (mine is cool). I ended up with the shade I wanted, but it’s a little too warm, so I’ll be buying some toner to even things out. That’s why I took off a star, because the product page suggested this shade if you wanted to avoid warm tones. I will use Olia in the future and give it another go, but my friend who is a hairstylist suggests leaving it on another 5-7 minutes to ensure more time to process (I left it on for the full 30 as directed and my hair is a natural light brown shade). I will also be using an applicator brush and bowl set to help the dye penetrate the greys more evenly.
