Used these when adding some led lights to the cargo bay of my van and they've worked really well. Easy to use and the connections are still trouble free several years later.

Only works well with bell wire, so not suitable for garden lights wire.

I have used these type of connectors before they are much neater than the spade and bullet types of connectors. Theses are smaller and neater than others I’ve used in the past. The only downfall with them is if you like me and have no feeling and very little grip they can be fiddly. You have no messy little wire tubes to pick up and throw away as there is no wire stripping involved. Just open the little clear door push your wire in the 2 holes, close the door and your finished. If your not very strong to do it with your fingers just use a pair of pliers and everything will lock into place. To test pull wires and they will be trapped in the connector. Now that you can get a t version at well it means it’s easier to add Spurs and look much better than the 3m connector. They are well worth the money.

These are ideal for connecting small wires. I bought them to connect wires together when doing an electrical job on my car. Car wires are small and I originally used block connectors with small screws but was concerned about whether I would get a good connection or whether the wires would come loose. With these connectors you don’t even have to strip back the insulation. You just push the wires into the connector and close them up. They are also small and unobtrusive and grip the wires tightly. Couple of tips. Make sure you push the wires into the connector as far as they will go and you will need to close the connector gently nipping it with a pair of pliers.

A little fiddly especially when trying to connect wires above your head but ultimately do the job. Tip if the wires your using have already have the insulation shaved off at the end cut that bit of wire off as i found it didn’t connect properly (probably just pushed the wire up)

Superschnelle Lieferung, genau was wir wollten. Einzig beim Einklemmen ist Vorsicht geboten, man braucht etwas Kraft und muss aufpassen, dass die die kleinen Klemmen nicht abbrechen.

Excelente conector, la fijación es muy segura, con pestañas de cierre, pero se pueden abrir para reutilizar o asegurar mejor la conexión si fuera necesario. Con cables muy finos (1 mm) hay que asegurarse que el cable este bien tenso antes de cerrar para que "muerda" bien y llegue al conductor. En cables de 1,5 o 2 mm va perfecto.

..pero solo me funciona si pelo un poco el cable por la zona donde le pega el corte, lo cual anula la ventaja de este tipo de conectores, ya que no es llegar, meter el cable y cerrar. También es cierto que los cables de los coches, al ser de 12 V y bajo amperaje la mayoría, son muy finos, lo cual los hace más difícil de manejar. Le doy 3 estrellas porque la idea es buena.
