Is it completely clear or does it have a yellow tint, like others I have tried, which alter the colour of your nail varnish, especially when pale?

No it doesnt it is leave a clear glossy finish. Best Top coat I've bought!

Does this have a strong smell to it?

No not at all and it's brilliant product to use

Can this be used for gel x nails?
