My husband was happy with this. He had donation of 20 pallets to make rustic planters. He spent less than an hour dismantling them and stacking all the planks. Now he just needs to make the planters. I’m sure he’ll get round to it. He did say he prefers the demolition side of things and was looking for more jobs to use this on. He said it was sturdy and well made. He can be heavy handed but found this stood up to his treatment of use. It really did make short work of dismantling old pallets without breaking them. Well worth it.

GOOD WRECKING TOOL, TENDS TO BREAK THE TIMBER, PULLING NAILS THROUGH THE WOOD. THIS IS BECAUSE THE PALLETS ARE ASSEMBLED WITH SPECIAL NAILS, NOT INTENDED TO BE PULLED APART. THE WIFE USES IT WITH EASE.

I just love this pallet breaker

The package arrived promptly, in a long cardboard box, showing an image of the contents (pallet buster) on one side. The tool was wrapped in clear plastic bags. These had dents / scratches / marks on the ends showing the tool had been moved around quite a bit before being shipped, but the tool itself had no marks or scratches. The "fork" ends were covered with removable rubber tops, and that is a very nice touch. Maybe they can remain there or only be used if you want to reduce the chance of denting the wood. I find the tool to be a bit short. I am 1,80 mt tall and would prefer the bar to be maybe 20/ cm longer. Either that or maybe bending the handle the opposite way (towards the fork side) to take more benefit of your strength when pulling. I will try to find an extension - piece of sturdy metal tube that can be attached to the top end of the bar whenever needed. I only tried it on 2 or 3 palette planks yet. (now this palette was one of those where they only use a couple of straight nails on each "connection point", not the type where the tip of the nails is bent inwards and the planks are harder to remove without breaking). So, a bit of force was needed, but nothing too demanding. In fact, after I loosened a bit one of the planks, my (almost) 6 yr son could use the tool easily to "help" me. Suggestions: in the future add the 'nail removal' feature as the model ROU64644 has. Overall satisfied, as I have dismantled pallets using a combination of hammer / crow bar / wooden wedge / and other tools , and using the pallet buster is much much easier and I am sure it will make me sweat a lot less. :)

Had a garden job breaking up old concrete path by myself and a SDS breaker. This was a God send to help lift up the broken slabs. Amazing tool. Sure it could be used for lots of other things. Solid too.

These things weren’t just nailed - they were nailed with vengeance. I tried prying. I tried pleading. I considered summoning a priest. Then came the Gorilla. I laughed like a man possessed. It was like Thor’s hammer had a baby with a crowbar and raised it on protein shakes and demolition videos. Yes, it’s heavy-duty. Yes, it’s built like a tank. And yes, it turned my pile of stubborn wooden nightmares into glorious, splintery kindling, faster than you can say “bonfire season.” My boiler room now smells faintly of victory and pine. Five stars for turning frustration into firewood. If you’ve ever stared into the soulless eyes of a pallet and whispered, “I will break you,” this is the tool that makes it happen.

Actually used this to remove some decking where some screws had rusted beyond removal. This is a really sturdy and good quality tool. It removed the offending boards with ease in seconds compared to the extremely slow alternative! The length and design of the tool makes getting under boards quick and easy, so you get good leverage . Works even easier for pallets. A bit of an investment for one off use, but worth while if you have a lot to remove, a real time saver with minimum effort required!

I bought this hoping it would do what it claims and it certainly does. What it also does is remove skirting boards with ease and speed. Very strong piece of kit. Highly recommend this tool to save your back, knees and time.

Super produit rien à dire de plus

Product does a fine job taking apart pallets without damaging so much of the wood (when compared to using the old crowbar/hammer method). Had to order it from the UK (I live in the US) so took almost 2 months to arrive plus, on the initial arrival date, we received a message basically stating, "Eh, supplier didn't have one to send....suddenly....you still want to wait or cancel your order?" Wasn't super pleased with that but, whatever.

Ho preso quest'attrezzo per mio padre, che si ostinava a spaccare i pallet con un attrezzo costruito da lui stesso, ma contro il quale inveiva ogni volta che lo usava. E' stato molto contento del regalo, lo trova comodo e lo sta utilizzando per demolire la sua catasta di pallet (ormai pensavo li collezionasse...). Forse è un pochino corto per essere utilizzato da un uomo, infatti il manico misura meno di un metro e lo costringe a lavorare piegato, però l'impugnatura è ergonomica e comoda, e vedo che sta risparmiando tempo ed energie. L'oggetto è ben fatto, rifinito bene e robusto, pare destinato a svolgere la sua funzione per lungo tempo. Il prezzo è decisamente abbordabile e vale la pena comprarlo se si hanno cataste di pallet da smontare.

Pomocny przy rozbieraniu palet. Faktycznie mógłby być nieco szerszy rozstaw. Przy szerszych deskach trzeba kombinować, aby rozebrać paletę. I dla wyższej osoby za krótki trzonek, o jakieś chociaż 10cm

Bonjour. Grâce aux commentaire d'Amazon, je savais avant de l'acheter que ça ne fonctionnerait pas sur tous les types de palettes. J'ai donc decider d'en fabriquer un moi même. Soucis, rien qu'une barre a min et deux pieds de biche et j'étais déjà a plus de 30€ de matos... Du coup j'ai commandé celui ci et reposer ce que j'avais dans mon caddie. En fait on récupère rarement des palettes europe donc il passe sur la majorité des palettes que j'ai a démonter. Et là, niveau efficacité c'est juste dingue. Même des planche abîmée sorte entière. J'ai acheté également un pied de biche stanley et avec les deux, je récupère mes clous droit et peux les réutiliser. Je pensais mettre 4 étoiles car ne prend pas toutes les palettes mais tous ceux qui l'ont testé m'ont dit 5. Le fils d'un ami qui a 6 ans (le fils, pas l'ami) a même reussi a, en démonter une. J'espère vous avoir éclairé. Au passage il y a ecris garantie a vie sur l'emballage. La qualité de fabrication est superbe et je suis un éternel insatisfait. Édit, 2 ans que j'ai fais mon achat. J ai depuis acheté une maison. Cet outil m'a fait gagner un temps de dingue. 150m carré de planché arraché en moins d'une journée, il me sert également pour ouvrir la trappe extérieure pour l'eau et le tout à l'égout, pour démonter des canalisations, radiateurs, n'importe quoi qui me résiste. C'est bourrin mais je casse tout pour tout refaire donc pas le temps de pinailler. Il est toujours comme neuf.
