Great quality
The bottom 3 jars are the ones I bought. I love them, they come well packaged and Kilner products are obviously renowned for their quality. I can’t wait to find a nice tea station to display my jars as they are balanced rather precariously atm lol

Perfect for intended purpose
I bought this to store baby formula in, as the foil bags it comes in are difficult to use (keep falling over, harder to re seal ect) and this is PERFECT. The 2L jar holds a whole box (2x 400g foil bags) and has enough room left over for about a third of a bag, which is great because I can refill it in the day before its fully empty, and I don't have to faff around at 4am trying to refill it while making a bottle 🤣 The jar itself seems sturdy enough, I've read ALOT of reviews saying not to use boiling water to sterilise the jar, so I use Milton's tablets and cold water instead. Definitely a worthwhile purchase, when I'm done using it for Formula I'll more than likely use it for dried food of some description, like rice or porridge oats. I will definitely be buying more!

Does what it says on the jar!
Particularly like the seal and clip on this jar which seams to be a good quality and not just for it relatively low cost. Now about to order another one.....

Excellent
Kilner jars are superb and I have many of them. The glass and the metal locking mechanism are of very good quality and work as you would expect, but what sets these jars apart from cheaper ones that you can buy in a supermarket or elsewhere are the seals. I've tested this in the past by filling a cheaper jar with water and turning it upside down. With an inferior seal, the water will usually slowly leak out. This obviously means that the jar is not airtight and whatever you are storing inside will degrade faster than in a Kilner jar. However, you can place a Kilner seal on a cheaper jar. If you then fill it with water and turn it upside down, it does not leak in my experience. Everything about these Kilner jars is excellent, but it is the seals (which you can buy separately) that sets them apart.

An easy and perfect solution
I love Kilner Jars and have been using them for years, for keeping all sorts of products fresh. I was binning my metal tea caddy as it was a bit too battered and worn, and whilst there's plenty to choose from caddy-wise, I couldn't find what I wanted for what I was willing to pay. I knew I could rely on Kilner, and as I'm already storing coffee beans in a smaller sized Kilner Jar, it was, for me, an obvious and easy choice to use Kilner and this two-litre "Kilner 25.513 Square Clip Top Jar" was a good size for what I wanted. The Kilner Jars that I have on the kitchen work surface I stand on 20 cm square cork mats, which apart from the combination or cork-mat-and-jar looking good, it stops the jars banging into each other (Kilner Jars I have in cupboards I don't use with the cork mats as I find it's not really necessary).

The Perfect Pickling Jar
I needed a jar for pickling an abundance of cucumbers and this airtight jar was perfect. It withstands being shaken and turned upside down and has never leaked. I've seen cheaper jars that are the same size, but they weren't as sturdy as the Kilner jar.

I love how it seals.
Great high quality jar that seals perfectly every tIme. I use it to keep and feed my sourdough starter.
