Great little product , I’ve now fitted it with a finer mesh filter

Ill start with dislikes; - Was fiddly to assemble, due to small screws and parts that don't fit exactly. (However, saying that, it wasn't too hard to make it work, and didn't take too long) Likes; -Once assembled it is sturdy. -The net and the waterproof bag work well together. -The hole for the hoover hose pipe makes hoovering the pond out much less of a chore, I'm no longer concerned about muck returning to the pond or spilling water all over the back garden. Bottom line; -If you hoover your pond out, this is well worth using as it allows you to remove the muck from the pond whilst returning the pond water back to the pond. If I was to make a suggestion on improvement id perhaps include a finer net that would fit below the larger net to catch the finer dirt particles (But this is something you could add yourself.)

I really like this gadget, just the job for trapping the silt and debris from my pond vac. It's robustly made and completely portable and storable. Good value for money.

It's quite well made but it is not really very effective. Ok for filtering out grit but it really needs a sponge filter on the outlet to prevent small sludge particles from being returned to the pond. The inner netting (which is the filter) is forced into the large diameter outlet then blocks the outlet. A sponge filter on the outlet would have done a much better job of filtering out the smaller sludge particles. For the price that should have been part of the basket.

Bought this basket to go alongside a recently purchased Oase Pondovac 3 Pond Vacuum Cleaner. Although I haven't as yet put it to the test I'm sure that looking at it it will do the job perfectly as it will allow me to return the vacuumed water back into the pond so saving water. However it comes in a flat pack condition requiring a fiddly assembly time. The 16 tiny screws can create problems to those with two thumbs and little patience.

VARY RARELY I WRITE A REVIEW AND WHEN I HAVE IT'S MORE LIKELY TO BE PRAISE AND A VERY SMALL NUMBER CRITICIZING A PRODUCT. THIS IS ONE I FOUND WAS OF NO BENEFIT IN HELPING WITH THE CLEANING OF MY POND, IT LOOKED VERY CHEAP, BUT IT CERTAINLY WASN'T AT THE HIGH PRICE THEY CHARGED. MY ADVICE IS DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Great pond filter when hoovering out the pond

Poco pratico abbinato a Oase Pondovac 4 in quanto stando alle istruzioni il tubo di uscita da Pondovac 4 non dovrebbe risalire per farlo entrare nel filtro. Di fatto dovrebbe stare su un livello sottostante quindi o si posiziona Pondovav 4 più alto o si posiziona il filtro più basso dell’uscita. Il filtro non é in grado di fermare il fango, ferma solo foglie e sassolini o altri detriti vari

sehr stabile Ausführung.ganz gutes Prinzip. Leider muss man sehr oft unterbrechen da das innere Netz immer den Auslauf verstopft.Das Nerz müsste man so verstärken das es nicht zum Auslauf durch das Ablaufwasser in diesen hinein gesogen wird.vielleit mit einem davor gestellten Metallgitter..oder ähnliches.

beaucoup plus pratique que les "sacs" de filtration en sortie de l'aspirateur de vase. Pour ma part j'ai fait 2 tentatives infructueuses d'aspirateur à vase et je ne suis pas près de recommencer pour un vrai bassin avec de la vrai vase ! Je préfère de loin travailler à l'épuisette ou même carrément avec mon aspirateur à eau traditionnel sans sortie des boues et de filtrer avec le panier en question. Je pense que le système électronique censé alterner entre l'aspiration et l'évacuation n'est pas fiable du tout. Maintenant à vous de voir selon votre cas personnel. (méfiez-vous aussi des arnaques du type "retour à vos frais" en cas de panne !!!). C'est trop facile pour le vendeur...

Es práctico. Como fallo tal vez mencionar que la red debería der algo menos profunda para evitar que tapone el desagüe cuando se empieza a acumular lodo y algas. Hay que levantar la red cada 5 minutos para evitar que se desborde el depósito.
