You should drop the liquid down the side of the nail and ontop of the nail itself.

the ingredients listed on the box are,propylene glycol,bisabolol,eugenia caryophyllus {clove} leaf oil,thymol,chloro-xylenol,ethylparaben,eugenol.this is the english version incase you were wondering

How long before you're able to cut your nails?? Does it take a couple of applications?

I would say it depends on how deep rooted the problem is (how painful it is) and also how long the nails are. I did a few applications then cut them. I also purchased a nail brightener which has helped. I hope this helps answer your question.

If i keep applying this will it go away on its own? Or will i have to cut it myself?

If you mean an in growing toenail, this really softens the nail bed. I was able to lift the nail which was growing into my toe and able to carefully snip it off. I have done this a few times a little at a time, and I now have control over the problem.
