Look and sound great
DR make very good quality strings. These neon green strings look and sound fantastic. Nice booming bass response and quite clear and articulate sounding. The coloured coating will show wear over time, especially around were telling string meets the fret.

Fantastic Nass strings they look, sound and feel superb. They brought my ibanez SR305EB to life , I had D'Addario strings on the bass before and the Dr Neon strings blew them away in every aspect

Really cool but overpriced
They look perfect and the quality is very good, but the price is exaggeratedly high. I bought them years ago and they use to be cheaper. I would only buy them for a special occasion.

2nd set in 18 months and love them
I'm not great for changing strings regularly. I do play quite heavy handed and occasionally with a pick. I would estimate I have done around 25 gigs + rehearsals, so around 100 hours. Some say the strings are harsh on your fingers, some say the tone is slightly dull, I say they're probably the best strings I've played! The coating started to come off of them around 6 months ago, but only where I was picking and was only really noticable very close up (about a 10mm long patch) and the original set would still be on there if I hadn't broken a string mid song at the last gig! If you want a bit of bling for your axe these are the strings for you!

Not well made and noisy. rather cheaply finished, but then they are not expensive.

THEY LOOK SICK
DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A BASS !!!These are super. Very very green my bass is now monster bass, only issue is It looks too good, other people get too jealous over them cause how sweet they are, when I put them on the bass I must admit I transcended to heaven for a second because the feeling of joy when I saw them took over. I think these are such a cool item to buy unless you don't play bass or don't have one. I will say you should be careful for example don't use metal pick (if you do anyway grow up) on them as it will damage the coating. These are a great buy if you think you need to get your bass too look unique or to feel personal or to make a theme like I have done.

The color was as expected, vibrant and they do glow under black lighting. Very impressive bright sound, but are a bit sticky. The colors are awesome but I found the strings break too easy, unlike other strings I’ve had in the past. I might get another set to have for a bit of pop in one of my basses, and I’ll stick to regular dr bass strings for the other instruments.

Tienen un sonido genial, sin ningún problema por el envió aun que fue por AMZMX (por fin de semana). Si tienes la oportunidad comprarlas cuando estén de oferta las e visto hasta en $500 aun así con el precio que tienen valen la pena, te dará gusto por cada día tu bajo! se nota la buena calidad como en el cuerpo de las cuerdas y el el color!

After many months, the colour has still not worn. These actually have a really decent, bright tone, too. Will be buying again.
