Brilliant
Brilliant fun for Christmas, worth the money. Very good quality, nicely packaged and arrived on time. We had lots of laughs with these. Wish I had bought two sets!

Good fun, nice bells
Very expensive but the hand bells will last for many many uses in the future because they are good quality and quite sturdy. They play a pretty near perfectly pitched scale of C major.....at least, good enough to please me and I am an ex music teacher! However only a few of the tunes on the sheet work because not all of them stick to the notes in this scale and so, for example, one might be required to play a note that is a semi tone flat which sounds awful. This was not a problem for me because I adapted the tunes that could be adapted simply, and notated other tunes that the children would know using just these 8 notes of the C major scale. That worked really well and we had a lot of fun. (Children aged 4, 6 and 9 plus Grandad.) Also I retyped the letters/note names and grouped them/spaced them better so that they were easy to read and made good sense. As it happened the children preferred to play than conduct so I was the one directing operations anyway. They managed it with 2 bells each. And when we lost a child I took the 2 spare bells. Another tip is to keep the bells in order/sit the players in numerical bell order to make life easier for the conductor, especially when the conductor has 2 bells as well. We plan on using the bells next time we have friends round for a meal too, so think we will get good value out of them.

Crackers!
The crackers were very impressive on the table...HUGE! However, there was no baton in the box, and no number labels for the performers. I easily made these items, but it was careless of the manufactureres not to include them as stated! The jokes were terrible...even more terrible than the usual ones. The bells were really nice quality and we had good fun trying to play the tunes. Definitely good for a change at Christmas!

Great fun
We always have my dad round for Christmas dinner, and he likes to contribute by buying an expensive box of crackers. Without exception, over the years they have been a shocking waste of money. The supposed quality gifts have been only a minor step up from the usual tat you expect to get in crackers. So I told my dad that I'd take care of it this year and, at half the cost of the ones he usually buys, these really delivered. For a start the bells, although small, are reasonably substantial and have a bit of weight behind them. You don't feel short changed. The idea behind the crackers is brilliant, and a perfect post-turkey diversion. We (well, I) ended up maybe taking it a bit too seriously, and in hindsight, after a stressful few hours cooking and being the only sober one, I probably wasn't the best choice as conductor! Nevertheless, we had a great laugh, and when we did manage to get the odd tune right, it was ridiculously satisfying. We've got people round again tomorrow, and I'll have no hesitation in getting out the bells if the time is right. (I've just realised you can easily turn this into a drinking game, with forfeits based on who messes up. I'm now about to change my original 4 into a 5!) Another minor plus point: I couldn't honestly say the jokes were funny, but I did think they were a cut above the usual. There was even one I hadn't heard before! Overall, well worth the money and recommended without hesitation.

Loved the crackers!
Well made crackers - we really had a blast! We spent hours trying different tunes as a family. The kids kept fighting over who got how many bells though, so keep that in mind. Maybe discuss a fair use policy beforehand ;-) Either way, it kept them entertained for days, so I consider that money well spent. As others have said, if you pay careful attention, you'll notice that one bell is off key. So I just avoided songs that utilised that bell.

2 bells had same note
A friend told me last year of the great fun they had had with (non-Amazon-purchased) musical crackers. I decided to splash out and pay for these, which arrived very promptly. We had great fun with them but would have had even more fun if bells 3 and 4 had had different notes - they both had the note for Bell 3 ('me) and we had no Bell 4 note ('fa'). Obviously when the crackers are pulled at the Christmas table, it's not appropriate and too late then to send back the faulty purchase.

Findet mann hier in Deutschland fast nicht. Dank an Amazon.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!
