Really REALLY LOUD! I feel a lot safer already!
I bought this because I often work on my own and worry about my safety when out and about. The first thing that I did when it came was to test how loud it is. To set it off, you pull out the pin on the top. The light on the side flashes when it is set off. The noise was loud and ear piercing and uncomfortable on the hearing. I’m very pleased with this product and now feel a lot safer.

Beware of permenant damage to your ears
Got two and one was more louder and better than the other one. It works well for safety, but never put it close to you because it can damage your ears permenantly.

Reasonably loud but felt used
Functionally it’s reasonable but when it arrived my first impression was, this is a used product. The box had no seal, the top was partially open, the cord was poorly wrapped and the batteries were installed. It’s not stunningly loud and can be easily silenced by simply holding your hand over the sounder. But I guess from a shock point of view it would surprise someone.
