GU10 Multi-Color LED Light Bulb with Remote Control (GU10 RGB)

I was very sceptical about this product as it was the cheapest one on there and I have had LED lights in the past and honestly, a candle is more brighter!!! I was so surprised!! I have a 4 bar light in my bathroom, so thought I would try the one to see what it was like, well, I have changed all 4 of the lights to these. when the setting is on white, it is bright enough for the bathroom, I mean Ok, they are not at all as bright as the original non LED bulbs, but with the 4 of them on its bright enough for me.I bought six of these to use on outdoor uplighters for the garden, but I have just ordered another set of 6 as I will change a few more of these around the house. Each remote control works for all the same lights, so I have plenty of spare remotes if one was to break. I can't wait to see them on the garden lights as they will look fantastic.There is only one negative thing for me, every time you switch the lights off at the wall, when you switch them back on, they default to the flashing all colour mode, but I can get used to that.I would highly recommend this product, because for the price, they are great, well worth the wait as they come from China.

Unbelievably good value for money - although very slow in arriving.I saw this item while looking for led lamps and thought it would be a good 'gimmick' with little downside as it was only a couple of quid - throw-away money if it turned out to be no good. I was pleasantly surprised that when it finally arrived it worked perfectly - although none too bright and beam angle very narrow. Remote of pretty poor quality, but when the price is taken into account it can't be faulted. In short, if you want good quality and longevity, don't waste your time, but if you're after bang-for-your-buck, look no further.Apparently, the delivery delay was caused by hold-up at customs, who took a dim view of the remotes having batteries in them. They had to be returned to China and re-shipped without batteries. I was told this by the seller who, without prompting, then refunded me half my purchase price - only £1.20, but it's the principle that counts and I would consider this to be exemplary customer service. (Although I did then have to spend my massive refund on a battery!)

I will start by saying that I think these GU10 Multi-color LED bulbs are amazing. However there are some warnings I would give to potential buyers. My review is in 3 sections and I hope you find it helpful :-)The good--------1. The cost to use these lights is incredibly low, I have an energy monitor and it barely changes when the lights are on.2. There are 16 colours! (some of which are a bit similar, but hey-ho!) For me, the different moods you can create with these bulbs is their strongest feature. Watching a horror movie is enhanced by dim red light, or maybe you could watch Titanic and change it from a yellow to a dark blue once the iceberg hits?3. You can turn off the bulbs from a distance without having to turn them off at the switch, perfect if you're feeling lazy and not wanting to get out of bed or off the sofa!The Bad-------1. Upon switching on the lights at the mains the last known "program" isn't remembered. It automatically goes back to a slow strobe effect, cycling through the colours. This is annoying but not a huge inconvenience if you have a remote handy. **UPDATE** I didn't realise at the time I first reviewed this, but if you use the ON/OFF function on the remote rather than turning on/off at the mains switch then the last lighting program IS remembered**2. These bulbs are NOT very bright. I had 6 of them on and it gave (at best) a cosy look. However I was in a 5m*5m room with no other light sources, and it was dark outside. There wasn't enough light to read by, but there was enough light to be able to see everything in the room.3. I haven't yet figured out how to use the remote to change a single bulb, in case you wanted different coloured beams coming from different bulbs.4. Finally, and this point isn't actually hugely important, the strobe effect is very slow and would benefit from being faster.The Ugly--------Apparently these lights are very big (Not for my specific lamp, but they are a bit larger than the normal GU10's that I got with it). They might (Apparently...) stick out from flush fittings or what have you.Other than that they're not that ugly, they're cute bee-hive like caps and the remotes are cute too.Like I say, I'd recommend them but I had hoped upon buying them that the white light would be brighter. For the unit price, and the running cost, this hasn't bothered me. I'm going to just pop in a few extra table and floor lamps (with brighter/whiter/slightly more expensive LED bulbs!).

I purchased this at the same time that I purchased the uplighter in this link...https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01ANUCT32/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1As you can see, halfway down the link, the option is there to purchase the colour changing bulb + remote at the same time.My impression was, as per the above link, the bulb, when inserted would sit below the top level of the uplighter, as per the pic - IT DOES NOT.An ordinary GU10 LED bulb works ok, but not the colour-changing bulb, please be warned and don't make the same mistake/assumptions I did. I'll take a pic if needed, but the top of the bulb is nearly 2CM above the top of the uplighter, and looks bad, in my opinion.

Although I have had issues receiving every order of this item the first one (that made me want to purchase additional ones) is brilliant for the price, remote excellent and absolutely love concept and effect it creates in my bedroom. Just can't wait to receive my additional orders of this product. I have 12 spot lights split over 2 switches and wish to have 6 of these on one and 6 normal bulbs on the other. You must remember that they are not for dimmer switch connections probably due to remote can brighten or dim bulb itself so not required on main switch. Would recommend to all who have patience to wait for arrival and won't be too disappointed if they don't arrive &new one needs reordering.
