i have been using it for the last 5 years...
i have been using it for the last 5 years... its works even now... the battery backup is still amaze me.. using is a bad term if u ask me.. i have been abusing it the last 5 yers... it been on rain, fire and i dropped it all the time still works like a charm... i think it is the best product boat introduced "ever". the sound quality is still above avarage.. fit perfectly on the head but not on the neck.. and like i said its durability is out of the world, like a tank... if u wanna buy it now, i think there is better choice now. becouse it is outdated, still, if you are short on money go for it... u never gomna regret it...

Sound quality is good, but the ear cushions came out and it's hard to fit them again and again, but over all products is good, worth for money

Sturdy but Ok Ok
Using it for 4 years now, this mf is not dying. I want its life to end so I can buy a new headphone. Must have fallen down stairs, random bumps on wall here and there but still very sturdy.1. Leather material on ear cups will come out after 1 year. And ear cups comes out once a month randomly, but very easy to put back in its place. Still not something you want in 2022.2. Bluetooth range is quite poor for 2022, sound disconnects when moving to next room. Remember it is only good when being in the same room.3. Bluetooth connectivity is good, tried with Linux, windows, mac, Android.4. Hair is get stuck in the headphones (pointed out in pic in red colour) and its very painfull to remove them, usually have to break them.5. You will find the sound really good if you have never used headphones, or have used cheaper headphones (<1500) in the past. The bass is decent not very good ,just loud and other sounds are also good enough.6. Till now i charge it in the morning for around 30 mins and it last the entire day or 2 days if not used extensively.7. About the looks, it looks gamer like, it covers your ears, they will pain in the start but if you wear them consistently for 4-5+ hours daily, your ears will adjust, i have wore them for 10+ hour a day for some days, but they get uncomfortable after 5-6 hr of continuous usage. The design is such that its not much flexible, which is a issue now in 2022. Not worth it.So i give it 5 stars cuz they are lastingfor 4 years, even after very dirty usage, idk how to break them. Just want to buy new now. Still dont buy in 2022 ,there are other more comfy headphones for ur ears with reasonable price.

The signature hollow and muddy BoAt sound
I picked these up for 990rs during a recent sale. I already own a pair of Audio Technica studio headphones that I use with a Fiio wireless DAC/AMP, and a pair of Logitech G series wired gaming headset (forgetting the exact model right now). I bought these despite owning better headphones because I needed something actually wireless when sim racing with a steering wheel. Now, I'm familiar with BoAt products and their general sound profile. I have owned countless of their 300-600rs range earbuds that I keep as backup for myself and my family members. I also own one of their small wireless speaker. And they all have the same sound profile - everything sounds hollow, the mid range is muddy, the soundscape and sound staging are horrendous, and the bass is boosted way too far. I feel like this is not only a problem with BoAt but all cheaper audio manufacturers. I was prepared for this though, and did not expect much.I mentioned that I bought these for gaming (sim racing mostly, I use my other headphones for regular kb+mouse/controller games), so how do they perform there? Well, the two sim racers I mostly play are DiRT Rally 2 and Assetto Corsa Competizione. Anyone familiar with these games knows that they have fantastic sound design. Both of them are unparalleled when it comes to engine sounds. DiRT Rally 2 is literally aural heaven for anybody who likes cars and how high performance cars sound. The difference between these BoAt headphones and my Audio Technica is night and day. Using the Audio Technicas, the sound mixing feels amazing. The co-driver pace note calls, the engine sounds, the tyre sounds, and the environmental effects all sound like they're 'seperate' as they should be. You hear little squeaks, bangs, and hisses as you whip a turbo charged monster through a tight forest path at 150kmph. You're totally immersed in it, it's pedal to the metal, you're flat out, on the edge of limit, on the edge of control...till the wires tangle up around your arms or steering lol.The BoAts on the other hand sound like you're listening to the game audio being broadcasted on a FM radio. All sounds are mushed into 'one sound', if it makes sense. It just sounds dull and muted, except for the artificially boosted bass which makes the anti-lag systems on some of the turbocharged cars a chore to listen to. You're not immersed, you're playing a game, and that is very apparent. One thing though - no cables. Some other general stuff - they're very light so they are comfortable to wear for an extended time. The battery life is pretty good as well. The charging time is okay, but they could've made it a bit faster. Small nitpick - micro USB charging port. Why? Why not Type C like everything else? The build quality and the feel is absolute trash. Cheap plastic. The buttons are a nice addition, theyre easy to operate and remember the positions of. Haven't tested the mic, but i imagine it would be sufficient for quick phone calls but terrible for multiplayer chatting/game streaming. They are on-ear so they let a lot of noise through. The Bluetooth pairing is fast and seamless, no hickups there. So do I recommend these? For people on a tight budget who want a lightweight headset with mic functionality, a good battery life, and okayish sound quality (I completely realise that I'm a bit of a snob and not everyone cares about the sound profile that much) - yes, absolutely. For people with a higher budget but want something like this as a backup, throwaway or for a specific purpose like me? Eh, maybe during a sale (anything over 1,000rs is too much for these).TL;DR - like having a bass boosted FM radio strapped to your ears, 10/10.
