How do you register the star? Is it in the pack you get?

Are the co-ordinates real and where can i search online to find the star for fun purposes? (i know the star won't actually change its name)

Yes they are, the AGASC_ID is a real catalogue ID and you can find out more info here http://cxc.harvard.edu/cgi-gen/cda/agasc/agascInterface.pl , just put in the RA and DEC with a search radius of 1. If you want an image of 'your' star you can go here http://skyview.gsfc.nasa.gov/current/cgi/query.pl and select an optical survey such as DSS. Coordinates for mine were J2000 which should apply to all AGASC entries, stars move in the sky relative to us over time and this sets the coordinate Epoc to the year 2000.

Don't know yet but thought it told you in the box but think you can wrists or email the company when you name your star
