Works brilliantly, equal to the branded one

So far, these batteries seem very effective at a much reduced cost. A good life in the camera and easy charging via a USB "C" connector plugged into the battery, doing away with the need for a separate charger. Some day, all batteries will be made like this!

I'm not a professional photographer but a keen amateur so my expectations and demands are lower. I have three of these for use in my Sony A7 and the only 'problem' is the camera splashes up that the battery isnt Sony and do you want to continue. So that's more of a Sony protectionist policy and nothing to do with Neewer.I've not tried to count the number of picture / charge cycle because I'm not often taking 100's of photos in succession. On one occasion I took fast burst photos of a bride and groom opening a bottle of fizz - the groom struggled so there were well over 150 photos. The battery was un-phased by the power demand and I got the photo I was after.I really appreciate the USB charging and the price point. I have 3 of these beauties plus the original Sony. These three are the ones I use.

Was very nervous about getting this battery for my expensive camera, but I need a backup battery and cannot forward £90 for a new one. I have tested it. It works well but still nervous about using

Good value battery for my Sony Alpha camera. Handy having the USB-C on the battery to charge it directly. Fast charging and lasts as you would expect for its capacity.

I love how these are chargeable through USB-C cables; far better than in-camera, particularly for a non Sony brand. They seem as good as the original and half the price. Only potential issue is if Sony ever release firmware which refuses to work with non OEM parts. Hopefully that won't happenUpdate March 2025: I finally did a firmware update of my FX30 to 5.02 (from 3.XXX, and the battery 'seems' to be fine. I will update here if this changes. Hopefully not

Despite claiming that the battery is fully compatible with Sony cameras, I still get a 'Fake Battery' warning from my camera. Better lasting than some copies, but nowhere near as good as an original, but not bad for the money.

Perfettamente compatibili su Sony A7III, nessun problema anche se lasciata inattiva dentro la macchina per settimane.Con un altra marca più economica, la macchina si è resettata, tornando ai parametri iniziali (data e ora, anche con batteria carica).Con queste nessun problema.Inoltre trovo impareggiabile la ricarica diretta tramite cavo usb-c senza dover per forza avere il suo caricatore apposito.Assolutamente consigliata.

Cette batterie fonctionne parfaitement sur mon Sony A7S dont les batteries étaient vieillissantes.

Recién la cargue y para poner a prueba, no se me descargo sin usarla, claro que está nueva y ese modelo de carga mediante cable.EXCELENTE.

This is actually my second Neewer USB-C direct-charge battery, and I’ve had great luck with them. My first was for a Canon R6 Mark I, and it lasted 3 years of constant use without any issue, so I decided to try this NP-FZ100 for my Sony A7C II. The battery fits exactly like the Sony original with no problems, is fully compatible with the camera, and even charges directly over USB-C without needing a dedicated charger—which is a huge plus for travel and convenience. In real-world testing, the performance has been excellent: at 91 shots it still showed 68% remaining (looked like ~300 shots total), but after longer use (294 photos with 56% left) it worked out to about 650–700 shots per charge, nearly identical to Sony’s OEM NP-FZ100 rating. It holds charge well, has been completely reliable for still photography so far, and for the price it’s an excellent value compared to Sony’s OEM battery. I’ll update this review if any issues arise, but given my experience with Neewer batteries, I’m confident recommending it.
