Good grass cutters for doing the edges. Super sharp but 4 stars because the spring in the middle keeps coming out but easily fixed with some super glue

This item was purchased to replace a pair of hand shears I bought many years ago. I was going to replace with the same make and model but then saw these hand shears. I read the reviews and they were really good especially one review which stated that these hand shears were made of metal and so were better than plastic hand shears. My previous hand shears were made of plastic so I decided to give these hand shears a go because clearly metal shears would be better than plastic ones and they were much cheaper than the replacement ones I was going to purchase. I am not disappointed by these shears. They are great. They blades are everso sharp. The blades can be turned easily to assist with cutting grass in different places. They are easy to use and are comfortable in your hand. I am really pleased with these shears and would definitely recommend them.

Like the idea of the swivel blades. do work fine, although the whole mechanism looks a bit flimsy tbh. Fine on dry grass...& a No no-on damp or wet grass....just pulls it out...or jams the blades & didnt even try it on the honeysuckle on the fence, as I don't think the mechanism or blades could handle it.. Fine for dry grass edging, bit limited on application. Small garden shears they are not....

Sharp and did the job - easy to use.

These are good garden shears. Ideal for trimming those areas where a strimmer is a bit too brutal, or if you need to protect certain plants but trim around them - e.g. I have honeysuckle plants with grass growing around the base - I want to trim the grass, but a strimmer may catch the honeysuckle stem. Easy to use - and I love that they can be turned through 90º Good value for money.
