Great if You're Constantly Slicing Your Finger Tips!
First time using this stuff and it works a treat. Had several knife cuts lately - finger tips - the gushing type that really hurt. Once you manage to stem the flow, this stuff seals it over. If you hate dirty plasters that get in the way then this is the stuff for you. It seems to work well enough even when your fingers get wet, and if needed you can just apply a bit more. I prefer this as unlike a plaster that seems to catch everything, this stuff is much less clumsy. Highly recommended for those that are constantly Freddy Kruegering themselves!

Works well for me.
Great product. I bought this product because I’m taking blood thinners and on several occasions I’ve nicked my shins on a stick or something while out walking in the woods of something and the tiny wound that would be nothing for most people for me won’t stop bleeding, to the point that my sock becomes socked with blood. I’ve now carry this stuff everywhere with me as it works really well. It’s basically surgical standard super glue. The way I use it is the drop it onto the graze or scratch or what every it is and cover the area. It takes a few minutes to harden off but once hard you’re good to go. It doesn’t come of in the shower or hot baths. It will eventually come off like a normal scab would do after about a week or so. This is just my experience with it as someone who bleeds a lot from very minor injury’s small cuts and scratches etc. I carry it everywhere now.

Good but some drawbacks
Very useful and does what it’s supposed to. Only down side is that it takes FOREVER to dry. It’s very thin and liquid and non viscous which is great for spreading where you need it, however when placed over an actively bleeding wounds is where it falls flat. If the wound is bleeding this substance just allows the blood through. Some almost crystilizes into some sort of ornate reddish sculpture, I don’t really want to witness my bloody wound becoming some sort of artistic impression.

A must-have for the home first-aid kit
I've found this to be very useful. It's so much easier to use than sticking plasters for small cuts on fingers; you just apply, wait for it to dry and then it just seals up the skin until it heals. My husband is a carpenter and this product sorts cuts on hands very well. It's especially good on heel cracks. A generous blob into the crack takes a while to dry, but fixes the split wonderfully. It can take away the pain on walking and stop cracks from getting bigger. (You can actually use it on undamaged skin as well, for example instead of using a thimble for sewing or to protect fingertips when playing steel-strung guitar. Handy!) Make sure you store opened tubes upright though, because they can leak once the seal is broken. I find that the tube can be reused several times if you store it carefully, for example sealing it in a plastic bag and propping it upright. It is cheap enough to use once and discard leftover glue though.

Saved a trip to a&e and no tears
I’ve tried several of these liquid glue from different brands on the high street and they’ve never worked very well for even the smallest of cuts and stung like hell for my kids as well as for my self. I started to look around for something else that would glue better and especially not sting as my kids would wriggle and cry which would make it hard to get a good seal! And with kids not surprisingly whilst at school he was injured and looking at the wound it was approaching 1cm long and 3-4 mm deep. It looked like a trip to the a&e department but I thought I’d give the liquid skin a try and ( mind you it had stopped bleeding as the school had given some first aid) it worked amazingly well with no pain or screaming from my son! I’d recommend this stuff to anyone especially with kids. A few tips though make sure the area is relatively dry ( I.e wash out and apply pressure and ice, etc to reduce bleeding ) make sure the skin around the cut is relatively dry , push the ‘ends’ of the wound/ cut together and apply the glue over the wound site. For me it instantly held the cut together though I’d hold it together until the liquid dries for a better ‘end’ result!! And more importantly he didn’t cry or flinch one bit! I am so utterly impressed.

Good value for money.
Good substitute for new skin. Took a while to dry and only really lasted a day or two.

It's ok, does the job
Was looking for the germolene version of this but appears it is no longer available. Wanted this product for small cuts/snags for a 'bleeder' instead of a plaster. First impressions is the tubes are very small. First time used it hard to get out of tube. Tube hard plastic does not squeeze so had to wait for contents to reach/drip through the hole to come out. Have to spread contents with the end if tube so not sure how heigenic it is if wiping over blood. Every time used had to re-pierce the hole for the glue to come out and wait an age for the contents to reach the hole again. Wasted nearly one tube as carried in holiday bag and it turned upside down. Whilst travelling the contents leaked out and by time I realised the top was glued stuck and the escaped content had stuck various things in the medical bag together!. Top does not screw on just pushes on. Lucky had taken a 2nd unopened tube. Worked out expensive having lost one tube after only being used twice. A little disappointing. I'm glad it wasn't near anything expensive when leaking, I.e handbag or near clothing. Advise storing this carefully, upside down with the cap upwards, have a pin handy to clear the hole when need to use. Be patient waiting for the content to emerge as painfully slow coming through the hole and to cover a larger cut. The concept of the product is good and it does work. The film it provides is long lasting. The packaging and how it is dispensed needs much improvement. Still have 2 tubes left (came as pack of 4). However, I will look to see if there is an alternative that dispenses better and less wasteful .

Sinon... Pas bon du tout !

Top Produkt hält was es verspricht
