I have been using Spatone for a while now, and it’s honestly an excellent product. The liquid sachets are so much easier to take than iron tablets, and I’ve definitely noticed a boost in my energy levels since using them. They’re gentle on the stomach too, no unpleasant side effects like some iron supplements can cause. The fact that it’s 100% natural with nothing artificial is a big plus, and it absorbs really well. I just mix a sachet into a bit of orange juice in the morning, and it’s quick, simple, and effective.

Writing a review, in case my story helps anyone else. My ferritin was 14 and I have increased my ferritin to 35 in just 5 weeks. Here’s what I did: - for the first two weeks I averaged 1.5 of these sachets per day after which I switched to 2 every other day (taken pre lunch with lemon water) - consumed high quality red meat 3x/week (up from 1x/week) - drank my morning kefir one hour before breakfast (instead of with breakfast) - rescheduled my tea to be drunk an hour away from meals - dropped my curcumin supplement entirely - added oats to my breakfast, ate pumpkin seeds daily, ate tahini every second day - had vitamin C foods with every meal - I was already eating chia, flax and eggs daily I also note that I do intermittent fasting and don’t eat dinner. Thrilled with this product. Easy to take and no side effects. Will continue until I reach 100.

Good way to get your iron levels up naturally especially if you have any reasons why you can’t take heme iron (meat, poultry, seafood) then is a reliable option. It doesn’t taste particularly great but should it? I read people complaining about the taste…there is a flavoured option 👀 if you care about the taste, the flavoured version might be best but if you want to avoid any sugar/fructose then maybe go for the natural and mix with some sort of orange or vit c for absorbency. On taste, it tastes metallic. They’re super easy to carry around on the go and easy to open. It will take some time to build iron levels up if you are say anaemic vs taking iron tablets but I think the lack of side effects with the iron water is worth it over iron tablets. I have checked my iron levels and they have increased, not as much as if I had taken tablets but at least I know it is being absorbed and I’m not having tummy issues or dark stools. About a week or two after starting spatone water, I noticed the colour in my eye lids, they were getting more red, which was an indication that it was working as they were paler before. Also, I wasn’t cold too which was another symptom of anaemia I used to always get but didn’t know why. I have more energy and do not feel as tired. So I think it has been effective in my case. I must point out though, the amount you get in this water vs tablets are very different thus if you are choosing spatone, I expect you know that due to it being natural and 20ml/accounting for 5mg, you might need to take for a few months if you are really low on iron, anaemic or even pregnant….so if you’re looking for a quick fix, you might need to do your research or call the company if you’re not sure about anything, I found them helpful. Again, my gp tried to make me take iron supplement which is a no no with cancer and I insisted that I’d give this a go, he disagreed saying that this wouldn’t help or be effective in any way but when I asked to check my levels post starting spatone water, he was genuinely surprised and even asked the name of the water after being a little dismissive before so yes, very happy with the product. And buying in bulk has been cost effective. I take two when menstruating. Hope this helps!

Tasted different than the first box I ordered. When I started the first box I seemed to feel better in myself and more energetic. The product seems to taste like rusty iron. I guess it makes sense as it's an iron supplement.

Really good gentle way to aid iron intake

I have been using spa tone for years. It's the only Iron supplement I can take. Pop a sachet in a little bit of orange juice first thing in the morning. Genly gives me the energy that I need.
