I moved an American-style refrigerator easily, recommended for those who have to move. Good quality of the belt and easy to use.

This is a superb piece of kit if you have heavy awkward loads to move. Saves you’re back, saves losing the skin on your hands, and makes lifting even very heavy load a breeze. We bought American American fridge freezer weighing at 130 kg, which wouldn’t fit through our front door had to be moved into the street, along the Rd. through a neighbours garden across our garden and a into the house, a journey of nearly 100 yards. Okay, it was done in six lift, but as you can see from the video it really takes the strain and keeps your hands-free to balance the load. Previous reviewer said that the buckle wouldn’t hold a load, this will happen if you have it on backwards! Thread the strap through the buckle the right way, pull it down and bring on the load slowly and it lock the strap in the buckle and will then not move or slip. Well made, very sturdy. Just wish it came with a storage bag but hey!

I was building a playframe for the grandkids and needed to move the playframe around 70ft to where it was going to be placed. My stepson and I moved the play frame with absolutely no problem at all. There's no way we could have lifted this without the SHOULDER DOLLY. Very comfortable while lifting. Pic shows where we moved the playframe from to where it sits now. Chute and swings were not attached when we moved it.

A moving novelty item that actually works. Certain objects — mattresses, long cabinets, chest freezers — either lack hand-holds or leave you hunched over and out of position. The shoulder dolly excels on exactly these items. The harness keeps weight around your core instead of extended out in front of you, which is a major back saver. Once cinched down, it's sturdy and not liable to slip. Your hands are free to balance the load, open doors, or grab handrails, and your head is free to actually look where you're going. The system takes some getting used to and requires communication between both lifters, but that's true of any two-person carry. It's least effective on stairs — the downhill person has the item pressed into them while the uphill person is too far away to have much control. That's physics, not a flaw with the product, and the situation isn't any better without it. I bring it to every move I help with, not because it works for everything, but because for certain items it's unbeatable. It pairs well with forearm forklift straps — both do different jobs and both do them well.
