We use this at our short term rental properties and love it. It’s a really good value, it works well and keeps things fresh. When we stay in our own vacation home, we use it on our laundry and are pleased with it. No residue or any issues you’d expect from a value product. We have 6 washers across our properties and even with different machines, hard water and soft water this stuff is great. It supports a small business, which we love!

This is a good budget detergent. It is safe for washing machines. I use it mostly for hand washing things in the sink. It really works at cleaning and deodorizing. It does not give any pleasant smell to clothes. It causes no irritation. It seems to remove some black dye when i hand wash with it. It lasts forever. It does not get clumpy if properly stored. One star off because it was leaking out of the package when it arrived. I had to transfer to a covered bucket.

It literally IS 50 lbs of powder. Been using it for about two years now, it does work as detergent. Works best with hot water. If you use with cold water to wash truly dirty dark clothes, you will need two washes to remove all odor traces, so it does need hot water to activate. On the definite plus side, the package does contain literally 50lbs of powder (I weighted all 3 of my prior purchases upon delivery) and it has almost no odor, which is great because then it doesn't compete with whatever fabric softener fragrance you choose. It does not remove stains on white fabrics though; it is not a miracle worker. But for everyday laundry, it is great!

We're a family of 7 so multiple loads of laundry is a regular occurrence here. I was spending too much money on detergent and started shopping around. This stuff comes out to 6 cents an ounce, the cheapest I've found so far. It's a 50-pound bad of detergent so this is going to last us for months. We buy this off of Amazon because of the free shipping, and it's also the cheapest here. We cannot do dyes or perfumes due to sensitivity, so I was concerned about the citrus scent. We've been using this for 2 months and so far, no one has broken out or had any skin issues and the smell does not give me a migraine like the other scented detergents do. The clean clothes do not smell at all despite the detergent itself smelling citrus. My husband gets his jeans very grimy, and this detergent does a great job of cleaning them. We were using Oxyclean as a backup and I have been able to stop using it with this detergent. Just a word of warning, the detergent itself is a very fine powder, so be careful when you use it because it gets airborne very easily. Do not let little kids play with it or use it because they can inhale it and get hurt. We have an airtight container that we store it in so moisture doesn't get into it. So if you are drowning in laundry and need a cheap but quality laundry detergent, this is what you're looking for!

I have been trying to reduce our use of plastic and started using detergent sheets, but they just don't clean well enough. This stuff cleans great, and the only plastic that came with it was a thin bag inside the cardboard box that the detergent powder was in, presumably to keep the powder from leaking out the box corners. I see a lot of people saying it has no scent, but what I received has a very light sort of floral scent that isn't detectable in washed and dried laundry. When I first opened the package I thought it had a slightly odd fermented odor, almost like beer. But that went away after a couple of days. I've seen people say it is too hard, and it's true, if you don't keep the bag closed the detergent will get hard, so don't leave it open. I repurposed a big plastic pail that some other detergent came in a couple of years ago that I transferred this to, which keeps the moisture out. Be careful transferring it though, so you don't breathe the dust. And I highly recommend using a mask and doing it outside. If this all sounds like too much effort, then it might not be the product for you. But for the reduction of plastic, the cleaning power, and the amazing price I think it's well worth it.

Great detergent at an excellent price. Gets our clothes very clean, doesn't have a strong scent, and doesn't have any super harsh chemicals. Stop buying liquid detergent and paying for water. Just make sure you don't pour it directly on clothes but instead add it to your detergent tray instead. Otherwise, it might get stuck in nooks and crannies on your clothes and leave a slight white residue. Adding it to the tray will allow the water to dilute it before it gets splashed onto your clothes.
