This is my sixth Global knife. They are sharp, durable and comfortable to hold. If you love cooking, a worthwhile investment to your collection. I use this specifically for vegetable chopping and helps me cut down my cooking time. Contrary to the regular, Global chef knife, this one isn't great for chopping in a rocking motion, as it was really designed for Japanese meals in mind, ie vegetables, fish, etc. I'd also recommend the miosharp sharpeners for a foolproof and safe way to keep your global knives in top condition.

Utterly fantastic blade. I use it for cutting, slicing, and dicing just about everything in the kitchen. Might not be wholly appropriate for some specialized tasks, but as an all-rounder this is just unbeatable. Keeps its edge with minimum sharpening on the ceramic wheels.

According to Amazon 5 stars mean I love the knife and I'd go with that. Fantastic knife that I'll use for most jobs no matter how big or small. Feels really comfortable to use and very sharp. Not a lot else to say as there's no down sides to the knife!

Global knives are the best. This one is a large fluted knife that cuts through meat, fish and vegetables easily without sticking to the blade.

Love this knife. So sharp and the grooves mean nothing sticks.

Best knife ever. Watch out so you don't cut yourself though because you literally let it rest on top of a tomato and it slides through. Need to have a knife sharpener to keep it sharp.

This is the second Global knife I have treated myself to and I'm not disappointed. As a keen cook I appreciate good tools and this cuts beautifully.

This has pretty much made my other knives obsolete. It can do pretty much every major task in the kitchen, and holds an edge brilliantly well. Just make sure you get a decent sharpener, or the extra investment in a decent knife is pointless.

Déçu par la qualité, ce couteau doit coûter 70€ max.

I bought this to complete the set we purchased. LOVE these knives - a massive upgrade from the dull painted blade Ikea set we had. Beautiful detail, nice weight, super sharp. This is a set we’ll have for years.
