Are these knives dishwasher safe?

According to Global website, they say "Please do not put GLOBAL knives in a dishwasher. The harsh environment during the wash cycle will harm the knife and in turn, cause corrosion."

What is the difference between the various Global Santoku knife models?

Mostly length and curvature of the blade. They’re all great knives though — own 5 and have every intention of continuing to buy these when those wear out. Incredibly sharp. My father-in-law, who is a surgeon, swears these are sharp enough for surgery.

Is this 11" or 14" long? confused by description. i need the shorter one so g48 or g80? thanks y'all!

The blade is 7 inches, the overall knife including the handle is 14 inches. G48 seems to have same dimensions.

Is this a good knife for lefties
