Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing, Fast-Drying Tyre Care Spray, 500ml

As an experienced hobby detailer I honestly think this is the best tyre shine money can buy for the price. It doesn't cause sling like most of the more expensive dressings, it's not greasy and lasts a solid 1-2 weeks - depending on conditions and road use - but if you keep your tyres clean with some mild cleaner like rinseless wash or your car shampoo and a dedicated rag/sponge when washing (I.e not deep cleaning with a stiff brush and dedicated cleaner which I recommend doing for the first time) then this product builds up well to a lasting shine that easily lasts several weeks at a time regardless of the weather. Applied with a sponge applicator is the best method I've found, spraying 3-4 light or half sprays of the product onto the applicator rather than the tyre to prevent getting it on the wheels or bodywork. Work it in well with the sponge and leave to dry for a shiny finish. Although the best method in my experience is to apply it with the sponge and leave it for 5-10 minutes and then wipe off the excess with a clean microfibre. This helps even the coating and gives a uniform deep black satin finish which is my preference over wet or greasy looking tyres that look like it just came off a second hand dealership forecourt. If your tyres haven't been treated for a long time and have had a deep clean then you can re-apply a second coating after the first steps to get the deepest possible finish. Hope this helps.

The fact that this can just be sprayed on and left to dry gets it 5 stars. So much easier than faffing about with gel and sponges. Even without wiping down afterwards it gives a really nice semi-gloss shine but doesn’t look slick and (quite frankly) tacky. Whether it actually does my tyres any good is up for debate but it’s nice to imagine it’ll stop them cracking quite as quickly.

Upfront, I will admit that I prefer my tyres with a high gloss shine. Which is why I am reluctant to buy this product again. It keeps a nice clean semi gloss look during use, but will start to look tired towards the end of the week if you are doing over 100 miles. The first picture I have put is the tyre with 2 coats applied and how I like my tyres to look. The second one is after a 35 mile drive, overcast conditions with no rain / no standing water on roads. It's a great product, easy to apply, and a second layer for that extra gloss. But the durability is poor. If your car is your daily and you want more than a clean semi gloss, you will burn through this very quickly in reapplications. I have given it 4 stars as its marketed as a instant shine and not an endurance product, but RRP it's competing with other products which offer similar results with greater durability.

This is a decent tyre dressing. Over the years I've used several. I don't like the application instructions with this! Spray over the tyre area. It's messy and runs all over your alloys, so you have to clean it up! I've found that using a cheap kitchen pot cleaner (sponge side) works better for me. Shake the product and spray it onto the sponge, then wipe it around the tyre wall. 100% works for me. I go over each tyre twice and let it dry off a bit in between. My method uses less tyre dressing and does work. This product wears off fairly soon after several miles of driving but overall it's good and quick and easy to reapply.

Excellent product! Leaves a great black shine that lasts 2 weeks or more. Easy to apply in minutes. Had tried others like foam and ph neutral tyre dressing products but nothing lasts as long and stops those horrible brown marks on the rubber from appearing!

タイヤ系はワコーズのスーパータイヤコートしか使ったことがありませんでした。ゴムに薬品を使うことで劣化させたくなかったからです。インスタントタイヤドレッシングは水性でゴムへの攻撃性がなく（少なく？）使って安心感があります。油性のギラギラとした艶感ではなく、しっとりとした黒に仕上がりました。私は拭き取り派なのですが、拭き取らなければもっと黒々とした艶がでるそうです。タイヤの機能性が優先される使い方が選べるのは良い点だと思います。

Für mich das Beste für Reifen was es gibt. Sprühe meine Trekkerreifen ein und verreibe die weisse Flüssigkeit mit einer Kleisterbürste. Die Reifen sehen wie neu aus, nicht glänzend sondern matt schwarz. So wie sie sein sollen. Ist halt eben von Autoglym, so hervorragend wie all ihre Produkte.

Autoglym is a solid line of products. Not the best, but never bad. In the case of this Instant Tyre Dressing, which BTW is really hard to find now in the USA as Autoglym has exited North America, the product is superb. Not too thick, so can be sprayed onto the tire or a rag and wiped on. Goes on as a white emulsion, dries nice and black. Lasts one a few washes or rain events. But they all don't last long. Still, better than many other major brands that hype their tire dressings. My go-to tire dressing for special events. Or you will have to re-apply very frequently if you want to keep that shine. You can go solvent-based, but you will get greasy tires with that. This is water-based emulsion. I like it. Smells man-ly nice, not fruity to make you want to eat it, which is great.
