The thermometer works fine, responds quickly and is easy to use. It would be better if the probe guard clipped onto the thermometer rather than just being a loose fit

Arrived quicly and is simple to use and appears to be very accurate. Have only used it a couple of times, once for a cake and once for a joint of beef. The readings seemed accurate and very clear and easy to read. Well recommended.

I've had this for years until I broke it accidentally. Even though I've half melted it, it still continued to work for a while longer. I then got a replacement, which was so unreliable and flimsy, I am now buying it again after many years. Seems accurate and responsive. It managed to measure oil for deep fat frying at 200C. If I do have an issue with it, it's that the LCD readout is set back behind the screen. So unless the display is lit directly from above a strong shadow is cast on the numbers. It's often not easy to read the value. The buttons on the back are fiddly, and very difficult to determine which is which. And it's also not waterproof - we very quickly got water inside the LCD readout
