Fab book with a lot of tips and tricks together with some lovely projects. Very inspiring. Love the lady who buys material and uses it all up before buying more.

Brilliant, so helpful & packed with loads of really good advice & tips. The book has certainly made me think about the best way to approach selling crafts. Virginia's approach is quite unbiased as well as she includes the opinions of other crafters enabling the reader to get a "rounded picture" on various topics. So glad I bought the book - thank you Virginia.

I was expecting a pattern book full of ideas to make and sell and while this does have patterns like that it was far more about how and where to sell your home sewn makes. Lots of tips and inspiration as well as good tips!

I live in the U.K. So was a bit doubtful if this book would be of any use but I have read it from cover to cover and can honestly say that it is the best crafting book I have bought in a long time. The suggestions for items to sell are very good and the author has been selfless by offering her patterns to all crafters. I would highly recommend this book

Reading this great book on sewing to sell has been a real eye opener. Great information and guides as well as commentary from crafting stars.

I bought this for the patterns but found them very Dated and nothing that I would make. The information regarding setting up a craft business is very good but I'm established, only bought it for the patterns as I mentioned.

Livre bien présenté avec des suggestions pratiques pour mettre ses productions cousues sur le marché, mais je l'ai lu en une séance sans être vraiment inspirée. Pour la personne qui commence à produire pour la vente, ce livre serait utile, mais pour une personne qui s'est déjà lancée dans la vente, il n'apportera pas beaucoup de nouvelles idées. Il y a quelques patrons de produits qui se vendent bien, ce qui est un petit plus. Il est en anglais américain, et il faudrait traduire les prix en euro et avoir les différences sur les pratiques de consommation en tête pour profiter du livre.

This is a good book to get you started and there’s quite a bit of general info crammed into it. It’s good for new sewing businesses or if you’re just starting to think about it. It’s a great way to check to see if you’ve covered everything you need to be doing. The info can be a little vague, but it’s more of an idea generator than a step-by-step. For a really in-depth guide you’ll want to find resources about how to sell your crafts online or how to price crafts and things you make to sell. It is worth noting that this book is from 2014 and well before world changing events. Some of the images are looking a little dated and the project price points are way off now. Expect to add $15-$20 or more to the suggestions. She has a second book in this series that covers other areas of selling and is also a great resource.

Great book with lots of fun projects and ideas

It is very insightful, easy and quick to read. love the patterns included! over-all great for anyone thinking of getting into te selling aspect of sewing. It isn't a one stop know all you need but is the best intro and go to I have come across yet.
