Impressively as good as lego at a fraction of the price.
Yeah, it's not a known ship from a movie. That is perhaps the only downside, if you even consider that a downside. But I thought it was cool enough to give it a shot for that low of a price and see if it goes together as sturdy as Lego. Well, what a surprise! This builds a lot like a Lego Technic set, as in you put mostly pegs through holes for assembly, not flat bumpy pieces on top of each other. So after 1000 pieces your thumbs may be a little sore, but what a sturdy build!!! Instructions were easy enough to follow. My 13-year-old only needed help with one step, and I found it was easier to do that one thing in a reverse order from the directions. Otherwise, pretty straight forward and hours to build. Can't say enough about the quality of the parts. Nothing loose at all once finished! Very sturdy ship! Lots of moving stuff on it, too! I have not taken it apart to see how well it meshes with actual lego pieces, so I can't comment on that. But as a kit it all fits perfectly! A quick tip, have several bowls/small containers around and sort pieces before started, similar ones in the same bowls. Otherwise it can be daunting and frustrating looking through them all. Definitely glad I bought this one! Just wish this company would make a bunch more!

Great!
My 9 year old absolutely loved doing this building kit. It took him about 3 days until he finished building it. The directions are a little confusing because some are kind of hard to see the placement, but overall it's good!

Cool but missing parts
I have enjoyed putting this together but I’m at a standstill because it is missing 1 piece to let me continue building and finishing it. This one piece attaches a section to the side and I don’t know where or how to get in touch with the manufacturer to get them to send it to me. The piece is a #15 light gray 7 hole piece about 2 inches long. Other than this, this thing is cool looking and has a lot of moving parts. I really like it.

Fun set!
First set arrived with a couple missing pieces. Received replacement and was able to get the ship built.

Awesome ship with moveable parts, and an even better deal!
The media could not be loaded. Okay this thing has completely changed my opinion of knock-off Lego options. For Christmas this year, my Lego-loving kiddos agreed to give off brands a try since they could have many more inexpensive alternatives compared to few very costly Lego brand versions.Long story short I gifted this spaceship to my 8 year old and he loves this, so much that he told me this is his favorite Lego creation and asked if we could put a shelf up to display and keep it safe. This massive 1,019 piece ship is not only cool looking but there’s many movable parts that make it very unique and fun to play with. The main feature is the rotating propulsion blasters in the rear; there’s 2 groups of them attached to large gears that rotate by turning the large ring. This ring really adds to the futuristic appearance but they creatively made it the most functional feature as well.Similarly, there’s a rotating feature on the nose of the ship. I assume they’re lights but they may also be guns, regardless they also rotate for more fun.Additionally, this ship has a turret gun on top of the main bay that moves around and slightly up and down. And there’s also guns on each side of both wings. The final key feature are the 2 main cannons that protrude from the front. In the default position they appear to be the primary cannons shooting straight ahead. But these can easily be pulled apart to redirect at 45 degrees. By the way, my son pointed out that if you stand the entire ship up with these cannons separated, it all becomes a large robot. Not sure if that’s by design or his own imagination, but I can see it!I can keep going on about this large and unique building toy, but the point is the kids love it. The amount of money parents can save from buying a Lego of the same size, can be used to buy even more like this instead, so great way to stretch the Christmas dollars!

Spacecraft Building Set
I have quite a bit of experience building dollhouses and have built maybe 10 different ones. So when I saw these building sets for a spacecraft and others I thought it would be a great activity to do with my Grandsons. My Grandson is 9 so he has experience with Legos as well. I feel we have a pretty good background in this type of build and having completed the sports car first we decided to move on to more difficult looking builds. The blocks are comparable to Legos and come labeled in multiple bags to follow the directions. The directions are pictures so they are easy enough to follow. We finished the sports car in about 6 to 8 hours and then set our eyes on the spacecraft. The pieces lock together neatly and the one piece of advice I can give after completing at least 2 of this kind of build is do each individual bag to completion before moving on and opening the next bag. This keeps everything separate and insures all the pieces find their correct spot. If you dump 2 bags together you will have a hard time wading thru the similar color and shape pieces and may have to tear down a single wrong piece that throws the whole thing into limbo. Anyway just do 1 bag at a time to completion you will thank me later. This has been a great build and I give this 5 Stars. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to Legos these are very close. We have 2 or 3 more to do and I am very happy with this set. Highly recommend.

Challenging for Gifted 10 Yr Old
At first I was hesitant to show my gifted 10 year old grandson this toy. It does look like a cheap Lego knockoff, but once we opened it and started working on it, he became immersed in putting it together. In the end it took him longer to finish than normal for these types of toys it as it is quite complex. And in the end, he was very proud that he was able to put it all together. Also, he typically takes his Lego builds apart soon after playing with them, but he has kept this one together and placed it on his desk in his room. Since it resembles the Lego toys, his friends always want to know which Lego toy this is and I think he likes being able to tell them that they won't find it in the Lego isle. I am really satisfied with this toy and I know he is too!
