The hood is entirely too bigIt's rare for me to find a 4X tallfishing / swimming shirt.I'm built like a football lineman.This shirt worked out well.The pattern and color is high quality.(Several other shirts I've tried were not representative of the pictures that displayed the product.)Keep in mind that I've only had a couple of visits to the lake consecutive on a Saturday and Sunday so this is not a long term review.I haven't even washed it yet to see how it holds up.I bought this particular shirt to go swimming in because I sunburn easily here in Texas.However I did fish in the same lake on the same days for about one hour while standing in waist high water before both of my swimming sessions.The oversized hood constantly slid down over my eyes while fishing.At first I was also annoyed because the sleeves seemed too long but it was because I was ignorant. When I used the thumb holes while casting the slightly longer sleeves in conjunction with the thumb holes kept the sleeves from riding up my forearms but gave enough slack to not hinder my casts.I was repeatedly casting to deeper water off a sandbar for approximately one hour each day with no sleeve related problems.So if you're swimming in this shirt the sleeves are a tad bit long but if you are casting while fishing it works fine.Because it's hard for me to find a properly sized fishing / swimming shirt that is this quality I'm willing to pay a tailor to adjust the size and fit of the hood.Overall I am happy with this shirt and I already ordered another color without the neck gator.

Very comfortable fabric and really appreciate the stretch. I'm 5'11'' 240 lbs and got the extra large and it is very breezy, almost too big in the torso but the arms are the right fit. I really appreciate the extra length in the torso, no chance of butt crack showing when bending over. Although the sleeves are longer than my T-Rex arms need, the cuffs keep them from sliding down my hands without being annoyingly tight. Can also push the sleeves up and they stay in place without being tight. They sewed the hood into the collar differently than most shirts and this makes the hood not pull against my throat when hanging back. KK did a great job designing this shirt and it impressed me enough to provide a review. I'll be buying another.

This shirt performed great on an 18 day trip down the Grand Canyon in July. The shirt stays wet, which helped keep cool, and was perfect for protecting my red-headed skin from the afternoon sun glare off the water. The neck is not chokey, and the hood does not tug down my back when wearing it down. The material stood the test of wear and tear on a harsh, hot, rocky, sandy environment involving rafting, hiking, and climbing. Best thing: it doesn't hold on to armpit stink the way some tech fabrics do. If I could change anything, I would add a mesh or some breathing holes for the part that goes over the face. I didn't have trouble breathing with it on, but it was a noticeable barrier.

I didn't want to buy the $100+ Huk or other competitive brands but I also really wanted a built in neck gaiter with a hood. Having all three or one or the other makes this a unique variant that really beats out the name brand. It's not any cheaper in quality and I have saved my self from hundreds of sunburns.The only thing to note is when you sweat into it, it does get heavy with moisture or water. Otherwise, I have zero complaints.

I've always been pleased with Kast King apparel. This shirt is no exception. Great value and quality. Love their gloves also.

This is a nice shirt overall, but the sleeves are a little long and it’s sort of baggy. It keeps me cool though.

The shirt is great... just watch out when ordering. the ordering page contains several kinds of shirts. i thought i was ordering one with the neck gator built in but it only had a hoodie. so watch out what you are ordering.

Buen producto. Fui de pesca y no me quemé la piel para nada. Y muy refrescante, sobre todo que vivo en Yucatán y las temperaturas en las playas arriba de los 40 grados. Soy talla XXL sin embargo, pedí la talla XL y me quedo perfecta.
