Absolutely brilliant results with ease.
Very easy to use and excellent quality. I wanted to change the colour of my very heavy double canvas competition jacket from natural to black. It was a bit of a heart in mouth moment starting but had no need to worry. A few scraps of masking tape helped cover some awkward corners but I soon discovered the dye has no effect on coated leather or rubber and wipes of with kitchen roll and water. It covers really well, although such an extreme change meant two coats were necessary. The online description does warn you. I guessed a 500ml bottle would be enough for my 48" jacket, as it was two liberal coats used 2/3 of the bottle. I used a 3/8" artists brush for the edges and seams and a 1" foam brush for the big areas. I left the first coat to dry for two days and the second went on very quicly and left a dense truly jet black finish. Highly recommended.

Used on an ottoman at home
Good dye, first time user - easy to work with. The colour came out evenly, soaked into the fabric well, and gave a solid, permanent finish once dry. Worked as expected and good value for the amount provided.

Fabric dye
The dye covered well but it dried more of a yellow cream than actual cream colour

Meh... guess its ok
I don't know.. did most the job but still not the best. As you can see in the photos the die ran into other sections even after I left to try 3 times and applied 3 coats, if you're dying a lamp shade like I did that has tussles, the die wouldn't stay in place with them, in the end a grabbed a quality marker pen and coloured bits in. For the lighter shades that wouldn't take I used a matte black spray paint can from afar and this did the trick. After the shade was dry after applying 3 coating of the liquid die the colour still wasn't deep black it was more musky dark grey so if you're looking for ebony black like I was then this is not quite for you, as I said before I used a spray paint can in the end to get more of a deep black. Don't get me wrong the die did most the job but just not quite there. 1 bottle was enough for all of this the large and smaller lampshade and I still have quite abit left, a little goes along way.

It works
Used it on a cream linen bedroom chair. Was about to throw it out. As it was very very grubby . Decided to give the cream fabric dye a shot. It was excellent . Probably so successful because it was an exact colour match.

Works well if plenty of time taken to apply.
Really good product if maybe a little overpriced. As per other reviews, make sure to buy plenty as it is very easily soaked in. I used 500ml bottle along with 250ml of the matching thinner plus 100ml of water to make it go just a little further. Take plenty of time to apply and do so sparingly. Use a brush to apply and a sponge to help spread it out. One coat has covered my medium sized single chair; no second coat will be required as the finish is even and has dried true to the colour on the swatches. Will need to wait a couple of days for it to fully cure and to test for colour fastness.

Not suitable for dyeing clothes- description is misleading
This is not a dye for clothes, and it should not be advertised as such. I tried to dye the collar of a black cotton t shirt that had part faded. Painted on 4 coats leaving an hour to dry between coats, as per instructions. Put it in the washing machine and it all washed away!

Molto denso
