As we are in the sixth mass extinction why would anyone want to reduce habitat for these wonderful birds?

I love wild birds but unfortunately House Martin’s had been building on our eaves above the gas and electricity meter cupboards and made quite some mess. However the House Martin’s have been coming back to the front of the house for over 30 years and we look forward to their appearance every year. I hope this reassures you that we care for our visitors every year.

When do I fit one as have just become aware of one in exactly the place you show (by the mess on my bedroom window ledge!! Do I wait for next Spring

My understanding is that once a nest has been started it is unlawful to remove it but check with local legislation. I would suggest that as soon as the nesting birds have flown, you install the product so that the same problem does not arise next year.

We got 1 in the pack. It's really effective but if I were honest we found it very pricey once we saw what it was as could've made a makeshift version with Perspex.
