No chrysalis, just the Monarch Butterfly as shown. I gave it as a gift and was happy to be able to find such a stunningly beautiful and special item to give.

Q: Why doesn't the cute old world ornament box shown on the site come with the ornament? why was wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a plain cardboard box

All of the Old World ornaments that I have purchased have been in the correct box.
