The best curl-defining product out there
This product is insanely good. My hair is 3c/4a, low porosity, high density and long. This is what I found with the product. Pros: - This is single-handedly the best curl-defining product I've ever tried. I usually have no choice but to use gels and conditioners and spray in conjunction so my hair is defined but not dry. And it's hard to find products which work together and do not flake. Finally I've found something which can be used entirely on its own, though Camille Rose Naturals' recommends their Love Milk leave-in conditioner underneath - but if I used both, then it would really break the bank! I recommend leaving in a little of your regular conditioner instead. - It doesn't flake. - It reduced the time it usually takes me when cock-tailing other products since I only had to use one. - The hold is very strong but not crunchy - I always felt those two had to go hand in hand for the curls to last but not with this product. - It's about 4/5 days later and the curls are still in-tact, defined, not frizzy and are moisturised. That's something I've never been able to achieve with any other product. - It smells okay - it smells like grapefruits. Not an artificial grapefruit scent but unsweetened, unperfumed grapefruits. I like grapefruits but it is a little strong - when it dries, it smells like a regular sweet conditioner on your hair but it isn't overpowering. - The product is thick but not sticky and doesn't leave any coating or residue on your hands or hair. - The product is all-natural and silicone free. Cons: - The price for Brits like myself is terrible - it's just too much money to buy on a regular basis. I would have to sacrifice the other products I like in order to buy this again in the future. - I would expect the bottle to be at least, at the very least 500ml for such a tall price, and it's only 12oz - around 335ml. - Again, for Brits, the availability of this product is inconsistent which doesn't make me have the confidence to make this a staple product in my routine. - The pump arrived broken. I can't excuse this for the price I paid to try this product. The pump was flimsy anyway and was made out of cheap plastic, only by chance did I have a pump I could use in its place but it doesn't fit perfectly and this shouldn't have happened in the first place I do want to buy this again but only time will tell.

Hairdresser recommended and I love
My curly specialist hairdresser recommended this for my hair. My hair gets very dry and frizzy but this keeps it super moisturised and the curls are MWAH. I combine it with the shea moisture leave in conditioner - leave in first and then a healthy helping of Jelly. I would say the bottle is annoying because when it gets to the bottom you can't get anything out, I use a knife to cut it open.

Underrated Styling cream great for my hair type and hydrates my hair very well
I’ve been using this styling cream for a while now and it really helps keep my curls soft and defined without feeling heavy. The scent is fresh but not overpowering, and It also makes detangling much easier, which saves me time on wash days. Definitely one of the better curl products I’ve tried.

Moisturises without weight: my curl-saviour!
I’ve used Kinky Curly custard for probably close to 20 years but the formula clearly changed recently (smell and texture were completely different) and it’s stopped working for me. I tried a few different products before this one but I’ve found exactly what I needed! It’s a godsend. I have very fine, low-porosity curls and my main issue is I need locked-in moisture but can’t use anything that will weigh down my hair. This product gives me exactly what I need: it forms lovely, springy curls by locking in moisture but it’s incredibly light. I really like the smell and, though some have called it expensive, it’s cheaper than most of the other products I tried. I’ll be praying it stays the same!

Overhyped
It’s ok but not as defining as I thought it would be since people hyped it up so much I have to pair it with a gel to actually get definition but it does last me a long time when I do that and I can refresh my hair and still have definition.

My new favorite product for curl control and enhancement
This product finally tames my curly hair, even when visiting humid climates. You put it in when your hair is really wet (in the shower) and then scrunch it. Once it's in, leave it alone until the hair is dry (diffuse your hair if necessary). DON'T touch your hair! When hair is fully dry, you 'break the cast' aka scrunch it again with dry hands. The curl comes out soft and touchable, not sticky.

Good curl gel
Good for curl definition but not that good for volume

Great for different hair types
I bought this for my husband who has North African hair along with the Camille Rose milk. It worked great on his hair by holding onto the moisture from the milk, it also got rid of his frizz. I have white people wavy hair and I also use it for slick backs because it holds the hair nicely without going crunchy and flakey like other gels. I enjoy the scent as well.

3c/4a South East Asian curly hair, prone to dryness/frizz
I didn’t know my hair could naturally curl better after using this, at first I just used a little on damp hair and I thought it looked good. The second time I tried, I ensured my hair was more wet/ straight out the shower, and worked in smaller sections and paired with a leave in. There was a little cast but I don’t care, even my mom with curly hair asked how I did it. There was less frizz! I didn’t know my hair could be less frizzy! Psa we have south east Asia curly hair, 3c/ sometimes 4a in some areas, very prone to dryness.
