Every toolbox needs a rubber mallet. It doesn't need to be expensive. This one is the only rubber mallet you'll ever need.

Good for flatpack furniture
I purchased this rubber mallet for my boyfriend because every time we've assembled flatpack furniture together for our new house he moans that he can't get a flush finish when connecting the dowels etc. Then it resorts to him getting an actual hammer and a cloth to soften the blow. It has a decent weight and a good surface area to the rubber head which doesn't leave marks. Great for whacking furniture together and also flattening things, but I'm sure there are better ones out there at a higher cost. I recommend this rubber mallet as it does the job it was bought for and you can't go wrong with the price.

Sturdy and useful
So far has done exactly as intended. Seems sturdy. Didn't cost very much. So far, I'm impressed.

If you're building industrial shelves or flatpack furniture...this is great!
This is one of those tools that I never thought I'd need...until I needed it. Now it's like Mjollnir for me - whenever I have an assembly job - garage shelving, workbenches, IKEA stuff - it's a blessing. Balanced well, not too heavy, shaft / handle is comfortable to use. When SWMBO saw it she raised an eyebrow and said 'You have hammers...why this?' After I completed the job without my blood being spilt and with the assembled shelves looking like they could hold a small elephant, she accepted that a rubber mallet is useful.

It's a mallet. Does the job.
Sturdy? Yes. Simple design. Not too light or flimsy. Not too heavy. Good size of the mallet head and handle means it is comfortable to hold. Good for wide range of jobs and decent price too.

Solid mallet, good for beginner woodcarver
Solid mallet that does everything I need of it. I've started woodcarving recently and wanted to use something with decent weight but not too sharp an impact, and this mallet works great for that.

Acheté pour un TP avec des élèves, il permet de frapper le dessous d'une table de laboratoire de collège sans l'endommager. La transmission du choc est top, la matière n'endommage pas la surface, j'en suis très satisfaite.
