Nice bag. Fits my laptop perfectly, doesnt touch the zip. Amazing build quality (Gud padding and air flow for your back; two strong handles to pick ur bag; high quality zip; stands straight on the ground on its own). Dont know how the bag fairs in rain yet. This is, by far, the best backpack that I've ever had. I love the fact that is: - Tough and hardy - specially since I use it for work and my computer is safe. - It's built strong and it looks strong too! - Has enough storage room for laptop, cooling desk, mouse, miniature keyboard and charging equipment. And the bag doesn't weigh that much so in total this isn't that bad. - The straps are super manageable. Able to tighten and loosen quickly for removal and transportation... very important for me. The padding is great and makes the backpack, as a whole, very comfortable and it feels like part of your back, instead of hanging off it. - The pattern is stylish and makes it look cool to wear a backpack even to the office. I definitely recommend it to all those looking for a great product to keep your laptop and your stuff safe and handy!

This is my second Wenger/swissgear bag. I bought one last xmas for my smaller 15" laptop and its been my work bag with a laptop in it every day since. Showing no signs of wear, this would most definately be down the excellent build quality of these bags. Yes they are a little more expensive than some others, but ultimately you get what you pay for. So on purchasing a newer 17" laptop more recently, there was only going to be one bag I looked for, and it would be this one right here. Amazon prime membership saw it delivered on a sunday, day after I ordered it (thanks amazon). Basic looking package when arrives but dont let that fool you. Takes my 17" laptop snuggly and room for all my other office type stuff, as well as my bluetooth speaker, charging cables, Ipad, phone, wallet, lunch etc. The shoulder straps are very well designed to allow a bit of give when you pick the bag up (simple but clever design) kind of like a spring. The top handle is strong and robust (and you can see a high tensile poly coated cable running inside this). Its also designed to be large enough to fit over suitcase/luggage handles for those longer trips away. So to sum up, great bag, fantastic build quality with fair protection for your shiny stuff. If you are looking for something strong and robust but is not a hard case/bag then this is for you. Better than a rucksack, easier than a hard laptop back to use for the busy professional.

Writing this review after using it for almost a year. I always wished to own a Wenger Bag & I have used it for Internation & domestic travel. Pros: 1. Many pockets: Helpful at a time when you want to keep specific things in a particular compartment. 2. Very Sturdy as expected & stylish. 3. Nice cushion especially in the laptop compartment & comfortable straps. Cons: 1. I felt the design leads to less storage space in the back/second compartment. 2. Sometime moistures get in through the top of the bag when it's raining. 3. If you are travelling in a weight cautious flight then the bag itself will account for 1 to 1.5 Kgs. But still, it's overall a nice & worth having. During my travel, I have seen other co-passengers owning this same bag :D :D :D

Bought this bag in 2011, 15 years ago and its been everywhere around the world with me. Its still as strong and robust as the first day I used it. Possibly the best bit of gear I've ever owned. Well worth the money.

I have now had this bag for 33 (thirty three) months and thought it's now time to write a review on it. I was initially sceptical based on previous experience but after much dilly-dally decided to take the plunge. Am I glad I did? Read on. Aesthetics and Ergonomy: Looks fantastic. Nice colour combinations. Beatiful zip type/pattern. Nice shoulder and back pad rests. No form of pain during use nor after. Reliability: 100%. Never let me down. Always does what I plan it to do (well I'm not saying bag a car in it). It always manages to contain reasonable extent of 'load' and still remain easy to use. Durability: I have not had any form of tear, significant wear, irremovable stain or other things of the likes. It still feels like new. Not the slightest thread loss visible. In fact there is no sign of it beginning to wear soon. Looks like it's going to last forever. And it still looks new even with active use. Functionality: Does what it says on the tin. Comfortably houses anything up to 17inches laptop (probably well over). Lots of space for charger, phones, water bottles, stationary, books and even clothes all at the same time. While in use, when put on the back, even with lots of content, the weight is so evenly distributed that you almost don't feel it. Cost: At £49.99 (my cost), it's well worth it. Even at the current price of £56.99, it's still worth having. Conclusion: I can't fault this product in any way. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would buy this bag again and over again. It's worth it's cost in every way and I would recommend it to anyone 100%. Chiny.

I purchased this bag back in 2008 as I was travelling a lot with my job and wasn't happy with the standard over the shoulder bag I got with my work laptop. This bag was great as it had enough space for my laptop and cables and all of the documentation I have to carry around with me. In addition to that, there's loads of small pockets and compartments to hold all of your bits and pieces. There's a decent sized compartment to fit your passport, iPod and headphones, a couple of side pockets to hold your drink and umbrella, a larger pocket for your books... you get the idea. The bag has been on countless trips to the continent and back, it's been lugged to Hong Kong and back a couple of times, chucked in the back of my car without too much care or attention (as the lappy is nicely padded and protected) and took it all without any major issues, other than some splitting on the carry handle which was not a problem. Then, just recently one of the clips which holds the straps of the rucksack snapped clean down the middle, which meant the end of the road for my trusty bag. It was a shame but it had lasted me well so I wasn't disapointed. I purchased another Swissgear bag as I was impressed with the brand and knew it would last me and when my new bag arrived I noticed a card stating 'SwissGear lifetime guarantee'. I wondered whether I'd be able to get my old bag repaired to either use as a spare or to pass onto my other half so I sent a warranty request with some photos to Swissgear. Imagine my surprise when I received a mail from SwissGear saying they would honour the warranty request, and a new bag was in the post! Three days later, and I'm now the very happy owner of two SwissGear bags... now I just need to decide which one I want to keep for myself. Seriously, what awesome service. Get one, it will last you for ages!

Tycker verkligen om den, man kan verkligen organisera vart man vill att sakerna får sin plats och hitta de sedan. Uppskattar extra fack för glasögon, mm. Mycket bra kvalitet, har använd den dagligen i mer än två år och den ser fortfarande ut som nytt. Enda nackdel är flaskfickan är lite för liten för min halv liter termos

This Is not a paid review or something, i have been thought this phase where I was looking for a sturdy yet a comfortable laptop bag which can be used for traveling too. I searched for hundreds of bags over internet and in the market. I saw reviews, unboxing video etc. And finally bought this bag. In general Laptop bags have a thin padding at the back side of the laptop compartment. But if you are carrying a gaming or heavy laptop that doesn't work. It hurts your shoulder and back while carrying them. Even there are some other bag company like the clownfish, red lemon who provide proper back side padding but they are not sturdy and they also have a lower quality. But these doesn't matter if you need a bag for just carrying your laptop to college or office. So they are good enough or there are other renowned brands like American tourister, skybag, Wildcraft etc. Specifically talking about this bag, it's a bit costly maybe that's the only con. It could have been a bit lower. But it's material is super good, has a lot of space and compartments. Specially designed for traveling as you have pockets where you can keep your immediate documents like passport and ticket. You can put it on your cabin luggage with the help of trolley strap. And it's long lasting. It's back support is extremely comfortable and the shock absorbing shoulder strap is an add on to it's quality. And it looks exactly like the one in the pictures.
