Sharpens quickly. Puts an edge on without scratching the rest of the blade
Our previous one of 42 years got rusty. This one is great and unlikely to rust

Sharps knives
If you know hi ow to use it, this will keep the edges on your knives. It does seem to be wearing faster than I would like though.

Sharpens brilliantly
I’ve been using this for a few months now and it’s been superb. The oval diamond-coated rod bites evenly and brings a tired edge back to life in seconds. Two or three passes are usually all it takes to get all my knives cutting cleanly again. The ergonomic, non-slip handle feels secure even with wet hands, and the rod length is spot on for kitchen use. I especially like the consistent finish it leaves on stainless blades; it’s perfect for quick touch-ups between whetstone sessions so I don’t have to do a full sharpen as often. Light, sturdy, and straightforward to clean with a quick wipe, this has become my go-to honing rod. Excellent value and performance so far.

An effective sharpener for kitchen knives etc.
I find I prefer diamond coated Steels to ones with a hardened steel surface.

Sharpens well , short life span .
Fantastic sharpener when new . Don’t think the diamond coating will last long , after a month I can already see on the sharpener where I’ve been using it . But it works very well .

Sharpens in no time.
A great sharpening steel for quickly bringing your kitchen knives back to being razor sharp. It’s easy to use and the length really helps to quickly sharpen long knives. It’s easy to hold and works either right handed or left. For the money this is a great kitchen companion.

Vediamo.
