Excellent dark roast with a deep, robust flavor and a wonderful aroma. It's really one of the better coffee deals out there.

I love this coffee. I have purchased 28 bags of it and will continue to do so unless the price goes absolutely insane. I always leave it in my cart and when the price drops below $20 I buy 3 bags to stock up. The quality is pretty dang consistent, I've only ever received 2 or maybe 3 bags where the beans weren't super oily and were a bit dried out. It still brewed and tasted great. The roast is a solid French roast, smoky and rich and low acid. I can drink a cup at 10pm and still go to sleep, so it is definitely decaf. My standard brew is pour over using a cheap plastic dripper but I have also made insanely good espresso and French press with this as well. If you need to drink decaf and like dark roasts, this is the way.

I use these in my espresso maker, delicious. They were roasted perfectly as described. I love the Swiss water method of decaffeination. These are my go to beans, high-quality, delicious and affordable.

I decided to switch to decaf coffee from Starbuck's French Roast, that I enjoyed for years. Starbuck's set a high standard for dark coffee and some others I tried did not meet those standards. However, SF Bay Decaf French Roast was a delightful find. It is very close in taste to Starbuck's but minus the caffeine jitters. It is now my go to coffee. I have a Cuisinart coffee pot that grinds the whole beans for every pot and SF Bay performs very well with the aroma of fresh ground coffee every morning. I definitely recommend this great dark roast coffee.

Nice flavor. I learned to cold brew this for 2 days on the kitchen counter vs my normal 24 hours would bring out deeper flavor.

An excellent decaf dark roast, full bodied - Swiss water processed so there are no chemicals used in processing. Good coffee. Excellent value for price.

I switched to decaf a few years ago for my health. Its hard to find dark decaf. This is perfect. Nice smooth rich flavor, you'd never know its decaf. Appreciated the sale! Highly recommend

This is a very oily dark roast. It makes espresso shots that are bitter. I would say it’s better for brewing than it is for an espresso machine. With the fine grind required for espresso, the oily grounds clump, regardless of raking with a needle device, and so water channels, and bitterness prevails. I haven’t tried brewing this or a pour over yet, to see if the bitterness comes from the clumping/channeling in the espresso shot process, or if it’s just the bean itself, but my shot pulls are bitter and salty and I cannot seem to remedy it.
