Sennheiser G4me Zero Gaming Headphones with Microphone Black

Simply the best headset I've ever owned or purchased. Before these, headsets I have previously owned are the Logitech G35, Razer Megalodon, Razer Tiamat Elite 7.1, Corsair Vengeance, just to name a few. The sound quality is above and beyond anything I've ever experienced before and knocks the other headsets I've used previously into a tin hat. I'm not an audiophile but my ear does appreciate sound quality, the trebles are clean and crisp, the bass is deep and booming, and the microphone is THE best microphone you'll ever encounter on a headset. When talking to my friends on Skype and Discord, they couldn't believe I was using a headset and thought I'd purchased a studio quality stand-alone microphone. To quote one of them "It sounds like you're standing behind me talking in my ear!". As a gamer who previously swore by virtual (and actual) surround sound headsets, I can say that I can detect positional audio perfectly with this headset as well, if not better than before. With the shift of many major PC games away from surround output to their own stereo mixers and Dolby Atmos built-in (Rainbow Six: Siege and Overwatch as examples of games I play myself), it seems that a good quality stereo headset is really the best way to go. The build quality is superb, they feel tough and well made, they are light and comfortable on the ears, I can barely tell I'm wearing them sometimes! The ear cushions are extra comfortable and the noise cancellation is nice, you can still hear things going on around you when you mute them, but when there is music or game audio playing, you feel completely immersed in the action. Seriously these are bloody fantastic, the price tag may be a bit hefty and cost around 40 quid more than your other top-end gaming headsets, but honestly? Worth every penny. The old adage about precision German engineering is true with these, and I would never look past Sennheiser again when it comes to my audio needs, gaming or otherwise. 10/10 TLDR: If you are a gamer who wants clear, positional audio and stuff like explosions and gunfire to sound amazing, look no further. If you are looking for an amazing quality microphone that makes it sound like you're in the room with your friends, look no further. If you want a headset that is great for gaming, but you want to listen to music and for it to sound excellent too, look no further!

Been using this for two weeks now, this is so much better than everyone on the market, it provides great quality and balances with price, headsets that are around £400 or more are actually on par with this headset, the volume control is in a much better position than my old PC 350's making it much easier to change the volume and not worry about any kind of wire problems as its on the side of the headset. The mic itself is great, perfect quality if not better than my old PC 350's and provides a fullness of voice rarely seen outside of high end headsets (studio headsets). The on off switch is built directly into the microphone as well allowing for much easier control of turning off your mic when you need to. Simply move it up and it will automatically turn off, pull it down and it will turn back on. Brilliant. Its extremely comfortable, admittedly it will feel a little bit tight on your head but frankly it wears in pretty quickly and its like you're not even wearing it, which is great I've never liked the idea of being wayed down or constricted by my own headset so this is a bonus. The cable is quite strong, much stronger than earlier models and there are no volume controls or mic controls built on the wire so this provides much more strength to the cable itself. The only thing you need to make sure you don't do is twist the wire because it can become tangled easily due to the thickness of the wire itself but its easy to fix. The headset is size adjustable as well so even if you have a big or small head its easy to tweak. They will feel quite big around your ears if you have small ones but overall big or small, thin or thick it will fit and even if it doesn't feel comfortable at first it will do after the first two days, the memory foam around the trim is particularly good so it wont forget the previous shape it took on your head unless you wear it in of course, meaning when you've found your comfort zone for it, you'll have it for a long long time :) Also comes with a neat carry case allowing you to take it with you anywhere ^^ overall this is the best headset ive ever used. 5/5. Brilliant.

Fantastic product from Sennheiser with one downfall... I love Sennheiser products, they are one of the best out there when it comes to making quality audio products so I was excited when my GAME ZERO headset turned up. They arrived super quick and in smart retail packaging. You get a nice travel case to store your headset and a few extra cables in which is handy if you're taking them round to a friends house or something like that. Starting off with the aesthetics of this product. They look great, by far the nicest looking headset out there on the market. They add a touch of class to any PC setup. Build quality. Another positive for Sennheiser. They know how to make a great product. Even though the headset is made mainly out of plastic, it as a quality feel to it. You can twist them and bend them and it doesn't feel like they will snap on you. The leather ear pads and head pad are super comfy. I've worn the headset for several hours and not once did my head start to ache. Sound quality. This for me is where it let the headset down. The overall sound of the headset is great, the sound is crisp and you can hear every little detail when gaming. The part which let the headset down is the bass. For me, it was too flat. I know with an external amp and an EQ on my computer I could bump the bass up but with the price of the headset I would have expected better. The microphone sounds great for a headset mic roo. Had no problem with the other person not being able to hear me well. I liked the mute feature with it. Simply lift the mic up 3/4 of the way and you'll hear and feel is a click which indicates the microphone is muted. Unfortunately, I had to return the headset as I couldn't live with it. Amazon and Sennheiser were fantastic in offering me a full refund. I'm in no way saying this headset is bad because that would be a lie. It's a brilliant product but for me I need something with a little more build in bass. If you have any doubts about this product then don't, you will be pleased with it (if you don't mind not having a light bass product)

Best headset I have ever owned. Been a PC gamer for a while now and tried all manor of headsets including the famous Razer Tiamat 7.1 headset and the Astros A50's along with many, many Turtle Beach headsets. I won't even bother rating the G4ME ZERO headset against the Turtle Beach headsets because they are not even in the same league. Sound quality, build quality, design, value for money, comfort, the Sennheiser G4ME ZERO just stomps on anything Turtle Beach could ever make. Anyway, enough about Turtle's. Compared to the other high priced headsets I have owned, this is truly the only one that has ever made me feel like I was listening to the sound as it was originally intended. Pair this headset with a high end, high performing sound card and the difference will be night and day. Sound never sounded so good! Even without the performing sound card, the difference will be there. The high, mids and lows on this set are perfectly tuned. Most gaming headsets these days have either too much bass or too little but that is a problem I thankfully need not deal with anymore since turning to Sennheiser The comfort of this headset cannot be emphasized enough. They have XXL head cuffs that fit perfectly over my ears (and I have big ears) and they are super light weight. They never get in the way and they allow you to concentrate on your game instead of constantly messing with your headset. The build quality. What can I say? They are German. Go throw them out of your window in front of a bus and they would probably still work. They are not cheaply built at all and you can see and feel that. The design of them is superb. The mic has got to be one of the best you can buy. Everyone will be able to hear you crystal clear and the great thing about the mic is you simply push it up vertically when not in use and it automatically mutes. Awesome! I know they are expensive but you are not just paying for the name. You are paying for the best. Right now, this is one of the best gaming headsets you can buy. It has pretty much everything you could want in a headset. Great build quality, superb sound, comfort, unique design and a fantastic mic. Remember, these are labeled as Pro headsets and I will give you a few reasons as to why. First off, the volume control will not mute the sound completely when at it's lowest. They have done this to accommodate for the lack of mic monitoring which I will discuss below. Remember, the idea of this headset is to immerse you in the game and keep outside noise from distracting you. As I mentioned above, they do NOT have mic monitoring. This is a definite plus in my book. Mic monitoring causes horrible feedback looping that results in a constant background noise in your headset. It is very distracting while gaming and to get the best audio quality, this feature had to be done away with. If the game is too loud and you need to speak to your fellow comrades, turning the volume down to the lowest it will go will still provide you with the ability to know what is going on in the game but will also allow you to hear yourself while speaking. As soon as you are done you can turn it back up again. Despite what Turtle Beach will have you believe, true pro gaming headsets do NOT have mic monitoring. And that concludes my review. Do not let the price put you off. You get what you pay for and this headset does not disappoint. It is Sennheiser after all. Most if not all the games you play on had their sound reordered on a Sennheiser audio device. Just remember that.

I've been using Sound blaster tactic3d fury and Sennheiser CX475 before purchasing this. Along with this headset, I have also purchased Sound blaster zx sound card. Fury headset I've been using was definitely not for me because it was on-ear headset which sits on and press my ear. Since I wear glasses, that made my ear hurt after 1~2 hours of use. CX475 was used when I was not required to use microphone, but being in-ear earphone somehow started making ear wax build up inside my ear and made me to use ear drops very often. I was really worried when purchasing this because I have VERY BIG HEAD as well as VERY BIG EARS that headset might not fit. It was such a relief that it did actually fit to my head and it still had some space available. Earwise it's just about right, but if i move the headset slightly ear starts to touch the pad and it feels annoying. With this headset which is over-ear which completely covers my ear, I am free from problem caused by both old headset and earphone. I'm wearing it for 8 hours straight at the moment but it doesn't hurt my ears one bit! It's not open-back headset, so sound is sealed well that my roommate won't even notice I'm using my pc while sleeping, as long as I'm not using keyboard or mouse. I've only experienced sound of this head with my new sound card. It's stereo headset but with aid of sound card it can also provide 7.1 surround sound, as well as tweaks available using equalizer. At stereo(default) setting, sound seems very flat(no boosting on low or high frequency), therefore it was very easy for me to set it up to my favourite sound settings with equalizer. With surround system activated via sound card, gaming experience has been amazing. Compared to old headset and earphone, this headset definitely lets me hear more stuff, with better quality. I was slightly worried that surround system on stereo headset might not give good directional sound, but I was mistaken on that part. It was very clear which direction sound was coming from, and with scout mode on sound card(boosts footstep sound etc), it was helping my gaming performance a lot. Only bit I'm concerned is the microphone, it does not have usual soft cover on it as well as it is not detachable. Microphone quality-wise, I was happy with it myself until my teamspeak friends constantly said I sound different, that I seem to be using some bad microphone. When I hear it myself, quality definitely improved but somehow my friends are not happy with it. I'm just assuming that they are too used to my old microphone voice that they feel my new microphone voice awkward. I do need to point out that even though microphone is right in front of my mouth, somehow it sounds slightly distant. Until now I am very happy with it, pricewise it's pretty good considering its sound quality. Other than microphone problem I do not really have a reason to give less star, but that microphone problem only applies to my friend, not me. So I do not really have problem giving this item 5-star.

After going through two pairs of these headphones, I have given up. I wanted to get these to replace my recently purchased game zero (non-special editions) as I prefer the aesthetic of these and am still within the return window for the standard zeros. The first of the special editions I received had no output from the microphone at a reasonable distance from my mouth. The only way I could get any sound to come out of it at all was by placing the microphone right next to my mouth, and even then it sounded like a distorted mess. The replacement pair is incrementally better, but we weren't starting off with much. These can output something at the default distance, but it is so low in volume you can barely hear it. Think the softest of whispers heard from the room next door. Not acceptable. Plugging my original game zeros back into the same microphone input, and the sound is absolutely fine. I don't know what has happened during the transition from gamery-red highlights to a simplistic black colour scheme, but whatever it was, it has obliterated the effectiveness of the microphone. Separate to that - these are 'special edition', yet unlike the standard game zeros they do not come with a handy small carry case, and only have one cable for PCs, no separate single-ended one for phones (headphone/microphone combo jacks). Doesn't seem particularly 'special' to me. TL;DR: They are the same as the game zeros in sound, same impedance of 50 ohms, lovely all-black aesthetic. Of a sample size of two, they have an inexplicably terrible/unusable microphone. They have no carry case and only one cable. Do not get these unless you don't care about the microphone, don't need a carrying case or the extra cable. But you wouldn't be looking at a product like this if you didn't need the microphone, right?

Coming from a different high-end headset I had high expectations for this headset, and I can say that I was not dissapointed. Starting with the build quailty, they are outstanding. I have been careful with them so have not pushed them to their limits but I do think that they would keep their structure if treated a bit rougher. They look fantastic in white, and complement my white desk perfectly. Comfort is a very strong point for these, with super soft ear cups and head band. They are very comfortable for long sessions and much better than my old headset. The only drawback is that the leather cups paired with the closed back design means that your ears can get rather hot and sweaty in the summer heat, but it is not difficult to handle. Moving on to the most important aspect - sound. They sound amazing. Even without using any amplifier they pack a punch and offer excellent levels of clarity. They have stood up to the task of performing in competitive multiplayer games and also more relaxed media consumption. I am no audiophile so cannot comment on the specifics, but I have owned enough headphones/headsets to know what is good and what is bad, and I can confidently say they are some of the best. The microphone is also excellent, cancelling out almost all background noise. This, paired with the excellent "seal" on the earcups make them great for use in loud environments. Overall they are a great option, and well worth the money. They might not be the best value option but if you have the money to spend they cannot be faulted in any way. Perfect for anyone who wants "the best".

First of all, they arrived 2 days late. The mic and sound don't seem any different to the logitech g430 which cost me only €50 (in comparison to this costing €210). This has a pointless bulge in both ears which irritate the ears. What I was hoping in these was not delivered, which was whenever you chew, yawn or simply move your head they creak, which gets very very annoying.The area where the cable goes into the headset is unnecessarily low which in turn rubs off your shoulder and due to it being a braided cord you will hear that through the left ear cup.The noise cancellation doesn't seem to even want to cancel outside noise, such as a dog barking on the other end of the house. Only had these for about 2 weeks so will be looking into refunding them.

I don't get why Sennheiser would put such craftsmanship into making an extremely comfortable, slim, portable, attractive headset, but leave out any effort to balance the sound profile. I would get better sound out of a $20 pair cheapos than what they slapped together for this supposed high end gaming headset. The audio quality is terrible. Overly tuned to highs but not in any way pleasing to the ear. I'm not a fan of a lot of the headsets that color the sound in favour of the bass and the subs but on this pair of cans the bass is Inaudible. Lacks a balanced sound profile. I can say that the sound was crisp in-game but you really can't appreciate the soundtrack while gaming - if it was ONLY for FPS then maaaaybe, but I can't even watch a video or listen to a song for more than a minute or two, before switching to one of my other far superior headsets. Disappointing.

I've never been disappointed with Sennheiser over the ear headphones, and these are no exception. I use these in combination with my creative sound blaster z se and have tuned them to my liking. Love it. Note: I Don't know if the quality of these are the same today as Sennheiser has sold its consumer part of the brand.

Sennheiser gerçekten ismi gibi ileride bir marka. Epos sizi aldatmasın, bu sadece satın alma ile ilgili. Teknoloji zaten Sennheiser. Hafif, rahat ve ses kartı ile kullanıldığı zaman inanılmaz kaliteli bir ürün. Kesinlikle tavsiye edilir. Buradan amazon içinde bir iki çift laf etmek isterim.
