Works very well
Worked brilliantly, would definitely recommend. It is easy to use and fixed the issue much better than scrubbling with a descaler and a stiff brush.

Does what it should, but can squirt out chemicals!
This is a practical solution to getting rid of limescale that accumulates on the end of taps. It's like a modified balloon, but tougher, thicker rubber. It fits onto kitchen taps easily and is very stretchy. Bath taps, which are wider, are a little bit more tricky to fit the gadget onto, particularly when filled with limescale remover chemical. I ended up spilling quite a bit as I pulled the gadget into place over the tap. It actually squirted the solution out when I pulled it firmly into position. So watch out for it getting into eyes etc. It was all over my hands and this seemed unavoidable. It is important to have the end of the tap dipped into the limescale remover solution within the gadget, so the gadget needs to be manoeuvred accordingly. It didn't fit too well on my bath tap (see photo), although it did work. I like the way the gadget can be stored on the neck of my limescale remover bottle (again, see my photo), so I won't lose it. In conclusion: Yes, it solves the problem of keeping limescale remover on the places where it needs to work. It's worth buying for that point alone. It is more expensive than I think it should be in terms of materials, but I suppose it's the idea you're paying for. Be careful of spillages and squirting chemicals!

Decent but not great
Have yet to try on all the taps but it has has a decent effect on the sink taps so far. Unfortunately they are a bit fiddly to handle and does not fit very well on some of the taps. Would prefer a small electric scrubber over this to do the job much more quickly. It is handy to try soak the taps using these beforehand though with limescale remover.

Works !
Takes few days to be perfect crystal clean but it does work ! Horray ! Disgusting things are removed. Cost effective and worth trying this for your hygiene if rented flat ! I have tested HG and white wine vinegar combo by two days - not mixing them, different days in a separate way . I have an impression that my organic 🥹 white wine vinegar worked better than HG but it smells really. Only two days patience ! Now I am testing only white wine vinegar way . Anyway this works and you can use it for various areas . 5 stars as per results and costs ! You leave it overnight and no efforts required much . Finish off with hard blush. Nor only lime scale but also black or green things of water impurity had been removed. Even the water of river would be safer … seriously I am fighting with water gems . This is one of the first step to get assured for hygiene !

Some entertainment value
If this fits the majority of taps then my taps are in a minority. I half filled the Limey with white vinegar and struggled to get it over one type of hand basin tap. Each time some of the vinegar spilled out. When, after the umpteenth time of trying, I managed to stretch it enough to get it to stay on, it was in a horizontal position and was practically empty. I tried the other type of hand basin tap and I was able to fit it over the end. However, the tap barely entered the Limey so there was no possibility of immersion. I tried the kitchen tap and managed to fit it on - the bulb now at 45 degrees to the horizontal. A definite improvement, or so I thought although I had no way of knowing if there was any contact with the vinegar. As I was pondering on this the Limey quickly and spontaneously ballooned and shot off the tap, hitting me in the chest and firing vinegar in the opposite direction. This item might work well if your taps have a significantly long downward facing spout but for my taps it definitely doesn't so I will be returning it. Update: I have since returned the item and obtained a full refund. The seller, Heritage Home and Garden, processed the refund promptly, courteously, and without fuss.

Tested it without testing it.
I managed to test it, without testing it. Here's how. Before it arrived it dawned on me that this thing is really nothing more than a glorified bag or balloon. So I decided to test the proof of concept before it arrived so that I could either cancel the order before it shipped or send it back immediately upon arrival if I believed it wouldn't work. So what I did was, I got the smallest size freezer bags I have and then filled the bottom of the bag with white vinegar (not normal dark malt vinegar). I then attached the bag to my kitchen sink tap, making sure that there was sufficient white vinegar to immerse the end of the tap in about an inch depth of the vinegar. I then tied the bag to the body of the tap and left it like that overnight. It worked! The tap was back to its shiny exterior, the vinegar solution had bits of limescale floating in it and the limescale that didn't come off I just gently agitated and it fell away from the innards of the tap with ease. So I haven't used this device yet as I don't need to just yet but.......I know when I do, it will work. There are dedicated descaling solutions on the market but I don’t know how effective they are or whether they're safe to use in the material that this product is made of. What I do know is, that for under £1 from LiDL I got a bottle of white vinegar and it worked. So I see no reason why this device, in conjuction with an effective solution, will not work for you. And it's a much more elegant tool than using a freezer bag.

Pratico
Ottimo e pratico.

// I am having trouble removing the end of the faucet with the frother, so I tried this article which allows the frother to take a vinegar and water bath. Very effective because after a certain soaking time there is no lime left and the tap works again without splashing
