Does the stylus come with a little plastic cover that protects the needle ?

I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it does not. If I remember correctly, the turntable did come with a plastic cover for the stylus and is quite a bit longer then the stylus as it slides right to the back of the head. Hope this helps.
