When I wash my lycra cycle tops at 30, sometimes the armpits still smell a bit BO like. This sounds like it would help?

Does this go in the drum of the machine, or in a drawer?

If your washing machine can take liquids in the detergent drawer then put it in there, otherwise use one of those plastic dispenser balls in the drum.

Do you use this alone or add it to regular detergent?

You can use this as a stand alone detergent as it works just as well on standard fabrics as it does on sports Fabrics. However if you prefer the smell of your standard detergent but want to performance of Halo Sports then you can combine the 2.
