Maybe it doesn't work *quite* as fast as you'd hope, but I had noticeable results after the first session and I'm confident that if I keep going, all my unwanted hair will be gone eventually. My lower legs have responded best so far, followed by underarms. Bikini line is more stubborn but still, I am starting to see progress there too. Really, really glad I bought this- well worth the price. No need to spend more for a cordless one, the cord is a decent length and I'd get so irritated waiting if I had to recharge part way through. I rarely swap out the attachments so they're more of a nice extra than an essential. If I forget to use a white pencil on moles I regret it very quickly, and immediately after use I can see some red dots, but overall this is easy to use, only slightly uncomfortable at times, and most importantly, IT WORKS!!

Bought it as a gift for my wife. Ended up using it just as often. Really removes hair. They disappear gradually use after use so 100 % requires few use in longer period of time as you can't use it too often.

Very happy so far. I've only had the device 2 & 1/2 weeks so I'm now four days after my second session and very pleased to already see a definite reduction in hair growth on my legs, bikini and under arms. Yes it's time consuming but only 1 evening out of every fortnight and yes it's fiddly as you have no way of seeing where you have already flashed but personally as someone who has struggled with body hair for years I'm just so excited to find something that appears to be really working I couldn't care less how much effort it takes for the first few weeks. I was told about the device by my sister who has had hers for a couple of years and proudly shows off perfectly smooth legs which she does absolutely nothing to beside flash every couple of months to stop re growth and I'm hoping for the same results.

Pluses: It works, after 3 treatments I have very little hair regrowth on my legs, underarms is reduced and seems thinner/lighter and there are still several treatments left before the intiial treatment course is done. It hurts far less than an epilator and has a far more pleasing result, and can be used on face and bikini line. It has done the job far better than any razor or hair remover did and needs to be used less often once you get to the maintenence phase. It gives you the feeling that you are less hairy, rather than that you are hairy and have just removed evidence of it. I'm pretty sure that's the main thing we want as women when it comes to hair removal Downsides: it takes a long while to do, you have to move the target only a few ml at a time to overlap areas beign treated not to miss anything. The flashes are extremely bright and leave lines on your vision, their pamphlet says they cannot harm your eyes and no protective eyewear are needed but you'll seriously doubt that when you start getting a headache from the searing flashes and are tempted to look away which obviously can prevent you doing every area thoroughly It will burn any hair you have not removed, which smells horrible, hurts a bit, and the window itself gets very hot, you may not be able to tolerate continual treatment over a particular area especially on your face and underarms. It can overheat like a hairdryer would and refuse to turn on until it has cooled down. The programme you can download to your phone to remind you about fortnightly treatments is quite insistant and you'll get annoyed with "are you sure you wont do it now, it's your last chance!" messages popping up when you havent the time to indulge it. Another downside is that you will still have to keep a razor handy to use before doing a treatment, so it doesn't eliminate the need for other hair removal tools.

I got this for my girlfriend, so far so good, you can’t really tell straight away if it works or not, but it feels like a good quality, the attachment comes with it are a bonus, and also the trimmer which I was expecting.

I've been using the lumea for the last 3 months and consistently every 2 weeks. I have the ideal skin and hair type, dark hair and pale skin and I have seen little change in hair growth. I have done 7 sessions so far and all I noticed is small patches of hair have stopped growing under my arms however my legs and arms have no change at all. I will keep up with the sessions however I think for the money I spent on this device I should have invested on actual laser hair removal from a laser clinic

2 starts not for the seller, but for the product itself. Basically I was using this device for 2-3 months now and the result is disappointing. First of all, it does nothing as was promised in various ads in Facebook or internet campaigns. Secondly, it does not perform as described in the instructions, since it says that hair should fall out - in my case many hair do not fall out at all and some become those nasty ingrown hair. I can see zero result on bikini and underarms. It is difficult to say something about legs and belly since I was using epilator for these areas and it might be that in some parts there is no hair because if it. Also the device heats on fast, so you can do half leg at once, not more. I am very disappointed, especially when my hair type is absolutely perfect for the device and I was always using max (5) level of intensity. Next time would not by it for £295, that is just waste of money.

The best thing that I ever tried for hair removal. It is very easy to use as the video explains how to start. I also watched video on YouTube which helped me to get started. After I saw the first results, I could not wait to use it again. The pain from IPL is tolerable. I use it mainly on 4-5, and have a little use on 3. After just few weeks the majority of unwanted hair are gone. After first-second use I noticed that the hair that grow a lot thinner, and some of them falling out. I specifically bought the model with lead as I did not wanted to lose battery charge half way through and then wait for an hour to recharge. I also found beneficial three different attachments as they allow me to use the device whenever I want on my body. I highly recommend Phillips Lumea to all who want permanent hair removal.

I bought and come to know there is only 2 peace of nozzle. Then i return the item ans since 3 weeks waiting for my money. Never seen such late and bad service in germany!
