Remember to take a break for effectiveness.
This was a game changer for my elderly dog. She was taking furosemide for a heart condition and when she slept deeply she would urinate without noticing. Luckily it didn't upset her and I was able to keep everything clean and safe for her. I thought as this is natural I'd give it a try. It took a few week to make a difference but it did help and the frequency if this occurance was greatly decreased. After 3 months it stopped helping and after talking to the manufacturer's that is the time to take a break as the remedy only works for that long. Bonkers, I know! Homeopathy is fascinating and some people dismiss it but it does work. We restarted after a couple of weeks break and it was still helpful. It's worth reading up about before using as I didn't know about the 3 month break. There are no side effects so u feel thus is worth a try before resorting to drugs from the vet but give it a few weeks or more to notice it working. I put the drops on her food. It has a faint alcohol smell but is not enough to cause any harm.

Did not work on my dog unfortunately
Unfortunately this did not work for my very elderly toy poodle, itโs worth a try first before you go to the vets as I have just paid ยฃ128 for a consultation and a small bottle of medicine to stop incontinence! I have given this 3 stars as I am sure it will work on some pets just not on my one

Worth trying has helped with my old boxer
Used this for my 9 year old boxer who became incontinent during the day. Took him the vet had the test and was given drops, but after reading the side effects decided to try leaks no more. After starting to use it it seemed to get worse, so stoped as leaflet says and started again. I think it was just getting the dosage right. I did persevere and am now on my second bottle 15 drops in the mornining on a teaspoon with a bit of water , which he does not mind taking appears to be working. He still has a little dribble now and again, but nothing to worry about . If he has a bad day I will give him 10 drops at night. I have now ordered my third bottle. This Leaks No More has definitely helped and I feel better that he is not taking the medication prescribed by the vet. I will continue to use it as this has really helped him . If you are going to try it , don't give up too soon , try adjusting the dosage . Good luck :)

Expensive and useless!
I bought this product on the recommendations of all the good reviews it had received, but was extremely disappointed to find that it did absolutely nothing for our aged Border Terrier who was getting rather incontinent in her advanced years. She would still just lay on the floor or sat in front of us, just leaking out. It didn't even reduce the amount of wee leaking out, it was just as 'flooding' as before! I stopped using the product after about 3 weeks of absolutely no effect, and instead we've changed her diet to only wet food (to reduce thirst), and we're making her go out in the garden for a wee once every hour or less (more often than the every two hours or so we tried before trying this HomeoPet Leaks No More) - which solved the problem instantly, and is a much easier and far cheaper solution than wasting your money on this tat! It may work for you, and it might not. It didn't for us, which is why I'd recommend trying the much more natural (and more inexpensive) method we're using now by making them go much more often.

Absolutely brilliant
Bought this feeling hopefully if slightly disbelieving the good reviewsโฆbut itโs quite honestly one of the best things Iโve ever boughtโฆmy dog suddenly started leaving a few small puddles ( she is a 12 year old spayed staffie) then for 1 day 2 huge, soaked through her duvet ,puddlesโฆand constantly licking herselfโฆordered this ,in the meantime 2 more huge puddlesโฆproduct arrived and as per instructions for her weight,I gave her 5 drops 3 times a dayโฆwithin 2 days she was back to normalโฆno puddles,no lickingโฆIโve now cut her down to 4 drops in the morning and 5 in her water bowl and happily after 5 days all is still goodโฆI honestly wouldnโt have believed itโฆjust ordered another bottle for her medicine cabinetโฆwould give it 10 stars if I could As an update..I am now giving her 5 drops 2 times a day as Iโm not sure that it being in her water was enough..she started to have puddles again..so to make sure that she has the correct amount I give it to her on food..after 2 days we are back to no puddlesโฆI honestly canโt believe how brilliant this product is ,she is obviously going to be on it every day for life now but itโs worth every penny

Disappointed
First bottle was great, but subsequent bottles had no effect - I'm not sure why?? Our young spaniel has suffered with inability to hold urine for any length of time and would often dribble in the house. Sadly we've had to go back to the vets who have put us on Incurin, the dribbling in the house has stopped but she still can't hold her urine for long 5 -6 hours max and sometimes not even that long. Unfortunately Incurin is only available on prescription and is very expensive. Very said this didn't work long term as it's less than half the price

It works!!
I started this on our female pup that had intermittent incontinence issues at night when she sleeps about a month ago. She is 40 lbs so I started her on 10 drops 3 times a day for a few weeks then I started reducing the frequency I gave it to her. Now I only give her a dose once every 3 days or so. She has not had any issues since I started her on this product. It is truly amazing and I am so glad I took a chance and purchased this. It really does work!!

It works, but you have to pay attention to dosage.
Background: Giant Schnauzer, two months post spay developed UTI and massive leaking Cipro took care of the UTI, but the leaking continued. Leaks no More works very well at controlling the incontinence my 16 month old pup suddenly developed shortly after her spay and UTI. The thing is, it is a homeopathic remedy and you have to keep a close eye on dosing. I started with the three dosages per day during a long weekend when I could dose her that much. After 5 days of the big dose and no more leaking, I took it down to max dose two times per day. Within about three weeks, she started leaking, so I knew it was time to back off the dose again. I reduced the dose two more times and had her down to three drops twice a day. She weighs 65 lbs. Then I missed a morning dose one time and the leaking started again. I immediately dosed her, but she continued leaking when it was getting close to next dose time, so I upped the dose to five drops twice a day and she's dry as the desert again. I have read that some people can give the dose for a period of time and then stop completely. I think a lot of it just depends on what causes the leaking to begin with. Please don't give up on this product too quickly if it appears to not be working. The med has to get into their systems and have a chance to do it's job. After working, if it appears to no longer be working, and you haven't missed a dose, I think this indicates a need to change the dose down. What I have learned from my dog is that 3 drops twice a day is probably the minimum she can have to make it work, and I screwed up by missing a dose. We probably won't be fortunate enough to ever be able to discontinue this med, but that's okay as long as the desired effect is achieved. At $11 per bottle with 300 drops, I can dose my dog for one month at the current dose. I think that is a very good investment of time and money. If you have questions about dosage, PLEASE call the company and get some help before you give up. I didn't do that, but I did read every post here and figured out what probably needed to be done for my dog.

Did help with intermittent use, update with another suggestion!
I am a Veterinary Technician. My American Pit Bull Terrier has had incontinence issues since about a year or so after she was spayed. She was spayed at 10 months old. For the first 4-5 years, she was on PROIN, but we kept having to increase the dose to see results and eventually, the effectiveness of the drug seemed to wear off. She never had a negative reaction while on it, but she started to refuse to take it and we got tired of jamming those huge tablets down her throat twice a day when it wasn't even working 100% anyway. We have just been cleaning up the dribbles as we see them and washing the dog bedding frequently - she usually loses control while sleeping/resting and it's almost always on the dog beds or in her fave place to lay in our kitchen on the rug in the sunlight. So while irritating and a lot of work, I thought it was better than her being on a drug, that wasn't completely working, with potential reactions. But oh the puddles...they have gotten so large this year (she's turning 9 soon) have gotten out of hand. She was waking up covered in pee and our other dog started getting covered in pee too if she slept on the same dog bed. We were bathing both dogs nonstop and washing bedding nonstop. So tired of the smell of pee. We (hubby too, one who doesn't like to spend money on the dogs) are SO GLAD we gave this a try. She's been on it for 3 weeks now and we started noticing the puddles were gone within a few days of the 3 times daily dose. She still dribbled, but no more lakes. That was awesome enough for me to be really excited and would have been content with just that result alone! Within a week to 2 weeks, the dribbles were gone. Now, she's down to the twice daily dose and we are still seeing no dribbles. She doesn't reek of pee, the dog beds don't reek of pee, it's absolutely awesome. After years of struggling with this, we have finally found something that is doable for her and us and it works! I couldn't be more pleased! I don't know how on earth people manage to get their dogs to take this on their food or in their water though! Mine HATES the taste. To avoid having her taste it as much, I put the drops in her closed mouth along her gums towards the back of her mouth, kinda just opening her jowls to do it, wait for her to swallow a couple of times. *** Update 2018 *** I still recommend these drops even though they eventually stopped working for her when used long term, as with any other drug/supplement we've tried over the last 13 or so years. When used for a week or 2, here and there with a break in between, it does work again so I still use it especially while traveling. If you are desperate as we have been, I have a somewhat odd recommendation to try. Last year, she was losing a ton of muscle mass due to aging and old ACL injuries so as a last ditch effort to keep her comfortable and alive in her old age, I decided to try a muscle building supplement called Bully Max (just the tablets, not the food or anything else, but I did also switch her to a higher protein dog food as well). My goal was simply to help her build some muscle to support her ailing joints. Which it truly did, but it had another awesome side effect - she stopped dribbling and stopped gushing lakes uncontrollably. She still sometimes can't make it outside, but 90% of the time, she can and at over 14 years old now and with mobility limitations, I think that's pretty darn good! The dog bed is very rarely wet either! I've tested my theory of Bully Max helping her urinary incontinence 4-5 times by stopping the med and sure enough, she goes back to being completely urinary incontinent until I put her back on Bully Max! I don't know what it is, but it has worked for her and made our lives so much less stressful!

Probably Not Good for Cats
I used it for two days for my 9 lb cat (only doing two doses a day instead of the recommended 3) and instead of preventing 'leaks' in her sleep, in prevented her from urinating even when she was trying to use the litterbox. So, even though it was easy to use and give to my cat, I definitely would not recommend this for cats.

Doesnt work all the time
It works only half the time but here's our situation. MOST ANIMAL rescues, like Humane Society did BAD. They fix animals WAY TOO YOUNG which causes a huge turnaround returned pets or animal to be abused. In our case I knew how to read a dog and knew we had 2 super smart girls, these 2 pups were fixed at just a few weeks old, WAY TOO YOUNG. This caused stones and sand, UTIs both females were very sickly, many tests only confusion, it took us yrs to figure the issue and a REAL HOLISTIC VET, not a wanna be holistic and an OBGYN vet to guide us. They would not urinate on floor but it would fall out of them as they lay there or stand still they would look surprised and cower down it was heart braking to see them like this, Doxy usually helped or doing PT, giving thrusting tickles to lower rib area would cause the one to tighten tummy a bit and she would not be so incontinent but once she slept it would happen once she was into deepest sleep so PT didnt always work. The other dog grew out of this after 3 yrs but not my other who is now 15 yrs old and still has drippy pippy issues. Their poor bodies were not able for the procedure it wasnt mature so they both would have urine backing into their bodies. WHAT A HEART BRAKE but after a vulva-plasty it was the same and caused her months of severe pain and us $2,000. What a rip off. The only med out there has dangerous side effects and we had an older dog on this years ago with a healthy heart at age 17! but immediately her heart was weaking she ended up on heart meds so we stopped that drippy pippymed but damage was done. She lasted 2 more years, age 19.
