Does this glaze make air dry clay water resistant. To make air dry clay mugs?

I don't think so. It's water resistant but not waterproof

It might strengthen a little depending what the project is and how many coats are applied.

Almost the thickness of a glue looking at it in the tub, however when applied with a brush, being careful not to overwork it, it isn't too thick, quite runny really, would possibly need 2 coats depending on what you are using it for. Hope this helps?

I applied this to air dried clay and it bubbled. What am I doing wrong?

You may have applied it too thick. I apply mint thin as poss. With an acrylic brush. Just enough to see where the glue is. One cost should be enough but if required you can apply further costs but let them dry in between costs. Get. Damp cloth and as long as the glue is semi dry you’ll be able to remove slit of the glue. Keep doing circular movements, and ringing yet cloth.
