Very good and value for money
It is great little horn. I brought one for my powered will chair because the horn on that is pathetic, this is great and people now hear me better. I will buy another one for my manual chair too!

Don't mess with my Toot Toot.....
Whilst this is cheap to buy it is not that bad, in terms of quality. That is what I am reminded of when I write this review. My wife has had it fitted to her bike now for more than a couple of months and it works perfectly. The reed, inside the black bulb head, ensures that the toot toot sound is loud and clear.Easy to fit as well, not much to go wrong with fitting it.

Great look, great sound, pity about the bracket...
Great loud horn (think the old fashioned car horn sound you'd hear in old movies - AAAAHHOOOOGAAAHH), and it looks great, but the bracket lets it down (literally). There should be a locking nut or something to keep the screw/nut from constantly loosening, and maybe a rubber washer or something to help secure the horn within the bracket. The one screw/nut is used to secure the horn into the bracket, keep the two-part bracket from moving side to side, and secure the bracket to the handlebars. It just doesn't work - once the nut loosens, the horn is moving all over the place. I'm sure I'll be able to figure out some way to sort it out with cable ties or Sugru, but be advised that the bracket as supplied is woefully inadequate!

"So, you're not a woman to be honked at, hah".
*New Years Resolution*1) Get hubbie to find my bike in the workshop/garage (it will be somewhere between three old Landrovers/second son's motorbike and 300 model airplanes!!!!)2) Purchase basket to hold a small dog on front of said bike.3) Train dog to sit nicely in basket and not to jump out whilst pedalling seventy miles an hour around the countryside....ok, ok.....pedalling Very Slowly whilst panting excessively (me, of course, not the dog).4) attach marvellous loud honkey horn to bike. Job's a good 'un!!!!!!Honkey horn arrived this morning.........just snuck downstairs whilst my 'gang' were watching Top Gear and scared the Bejesus out of them...Great, worth every penny!!Seems a substantial item, good bracket to attach to whatever you want, whether it be a bike or a pony's buggy (The Quiet Man is one of my favourite films).Great alarm clock for teenagers if you're so inclined!!

Makes the right NOISE!!!!
a great product that does what it is supposed to do. I have it mounted on my Mobility scooter, as the on board alarm is not loud enough.

NOT for use on a bike
I fancied a fun horn to attach to my bike to make London pedestrians smile (and move onto the pavement). After struggling to get it to fit to my handlebars, I finally secured it. My first trip out with it I used it once - great fun noise. On my return journey I was cycling down a busy road and the black bulb rubber part of the horn fell off completely without any force applied to it. I wasn't able to stop and pick up the fallen part.I would not recommend this product to anyone who wishes to use it on a bike. It makes a fun sound, and would be great for rousing my hungover flatmates but is very cheaply made and cannot be used on a bike unfortunately.I have claimed a refund and will not be buying another.
