I was pleased the letter pieces are very thick. The drawers and cards seem to be holding up well also, so far. If younger children are around, the entire box needs to be out of their reach. It's just a cardboard box, so little ones trying to sit on it will destroy it. And the cards would definitely be bent. But for my five year old, we love this set to reinforce sounds learned at school. There are a lot of cards too, so you can chose the ones your child is ready for. There are plenty of letters too, so I can also create words directly from my daughter's school work. Great product.

Great supplement for reading practice. Makes learning more fun. The letters included are foam, and you have to punch them out yourself. My five year old enjoyed punching the foam letters out quite a bit. The box includes different levels from finding the first letter of a short word to blends and middle sounds.

Many kids struggle with basic phonics. While this product should not take the place of a phonics curriculum, it can reinforce many of the basic skills necessary for reading success. As a teacher of both general ed and special ed classrooms, I have utilized this set every year. It's easy to use. I can have a parent volunteer or paraprofessional work with the kids while I work with other kids. It doesn't require any special training. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to provide additional reinforcement in reading and phonics.

I bought this item for my 5 year old kindergartener. It wasn't what I expected. The cards are pretty durable however the letters are styrofoam and could be easily destroyed. I was expecting the letters to be made out of plastic for more durability.

My three year old grandson loves these and it travels well too!

Bought this for my daughter to use in her classroom. She has a couple of kids at a very low reading level and this is used as a learning game. The kids love it and she is seeing improvements for these kids.

This product was great for my classroom centers or small group activities.

Was a gift for a 4 yr old boy. He loves it.
